I was the same, but then I really got into the series... actually, the reason I got into it was because of the Varia, namely Xanxus. They (he) looked so cool compared to the good guys so I just had to check it out. The first time I saw the KHR! Wikipedia page I laughed and wondered how someone could like the series. Oh, the irony. I always end up liking stuff I claim to hate. DX

Xanxus sure is hot and smexy hot-tempered. I've seen him drawn as a tomato. Weird stuff. o.o
