  • Thank you.

You can never guess what country I'm from :D
Ignore the fact that you already knew to begin with, plus you stalked my facebook once :V
Alright, thank you for answering. Part of the reason I wanted to do it was because it was so long, and it seems a shame to have gone on for that long and then stopped. But I understand your reasoning.

Also, I've never seen anyone ever use the word instaure before. That's awesome. ;)
I really, really hate the Official Nintendo Magazine in the UK. I last read it last December, and they did a huge article on 'why girls don't play games', and made fun of how dumb girls are. *massive eyeroll* Anyone want to explain that huge category of bright pink shovelware designed for girls?!

Ah, I see. That is hard. I was watching Russia Today (my favourite news channel because I get to hear about the whole world, even if it is a wee bit biased) and they were claiming the Euro was a great experimental disaster, which is a viewpoint shared by a lot of Brits. I know that if it came to a vote the decision whether to move to the Euro would be shouted down, so perhaps Cameron is simply following public opinion to get votes next election. (None of his other policies are going to get him anywhere!)

"Germany Warns of War in Europe"? How...ironic? XD
I bought an issue of NGamer (Nintendo Gamer, I think it's UK-only? Not sure...) and it pretty much convinced me with the shiny new red 3DS. Plus I watched a bunch of reviews and they said with the backlight turned down and the wireless off (how I played my XL) I can squeeze 7 hours out of the thing, so there we go. =)

Speaking as a British citizen, I really don't want us to convert to the Euro - but I do think we should help out with the debt crisis. Why? Because we cannot survive on our own; we need to be a part of a community. Look at America. Each state is unique with their societies (racial make-up, expectations, etc.) and laws but they all contribute to the whole. So I'm keen to keep the Pound (whilst not a nationalist in any way, I just want our currency to be a cultural norm) but I think we should be doing more to help Europe, even if it's only mediations and the like.
I always keep the backlight turned down when I use my DS or iPhone because I find this makes a huge difference to the battery life. Still, 4.5 hours...hmm. Not bad, I think. And I can carry my charger to work with me. And oooh, virtual console...? That looks awesome!

Oooh, I see. So the Eurozone is all of the countries banding together to pay off the Greek/Portugese/Irish/Italian debt in order to save the rest of Europe? Huh. No wonder David Cameron is spitting fire and brimstone over it. Conservatives never did like paying for the greater good...
Yeah, I just checked in Game and a 3DS in there is only £10 more expensive that a new DSi...sigh. OKAY YOU'VE WON. XD On payday I will be buying me the shizz out of the 3DS. :3 I didn't realise you could switch the 3D off; I thought you could only have it to a certain depth. Could you tell me about the battery life? I read somewhere that it was lower than the DSi, but I assume that's if you have the 3D turned on? Also, what's that longer screen like on DS games? I play things like Hotel Dusk, and I can't imagine one screen bigger and one smaller...

Also there is a new Kindle out that is only £89 and has a touch-screen! =)

What is the Eurozone Crisis? I am 100% thick when it comes to politics; it took 3 days for my dad to explain how UK elections worked and I still didn't quite get it then. XD
Ouch. >:( I feel for you, Spain.

The Kindle is absolutely amazing. I mean, I was on the bus just now and was all "oh Jane Eyre, haven't read that in ages!" Ten seconds to download and then I was reading. ^__^ Plus I've had mine since January, and I have charged it a grand total of three times. The battery life is amazing.

The 3DS is more expensive than the DSi in England...plus I don't like the design. The smaller bottom screen just looks wonky and wrong to me. (And stereoscopic 3D hurts my eyes, hence why I can't see 3D films either.) So it would just be a waste of money for me. :/
Ooooh, sounds good! =D I can't wait until our elections, just so I can see the Tories (hopefully) get kicked in their teeth...

Not being printed? ;( You're right, online is not the same. I have my Kindle but I couldn't imagine reading a newspaper on it.

I realised I missed this place, and that I missed Pokémon. I've been playing a lot of Xbox 360 and World of Warcraft recently and neglecting replacing my DS, so hopefully when I buy my new DSi and start playing Black I'll get back in the swing of things. 83
Yeah! Well it was a long time ago... ): but yeah! I get the odd comment from her on facebook. d:
lool I only posted in that thread because I saw you did more like tbh I didn't see it before.
Yeah! Well, we don't talk as much as before but do you remember those PC group MSN conversations like a year or two ago? I'd talk to Nica and Zet and Maly there! i think you were in them too, weren't you?
Well that's an illogical idea founded on convenience rather than anything else. Not alive until it's been born? You ever heard of a "Caesarean section operation"? With that method, a baby is not truly born. It was a major plot point of Macbeth, actually. And with that logic, no child Caesarean birth ever "became alive".

Letting people choose individually what constitutes a life has a name: anarchy.
