I know. I hate the idea of version exculsive pokemon. I want both vulpix and growlthe but they never come in the same game. I find Ekans and Sandshrew are actaully really close in terms of power and move sets, proberly why they were choosen as version exclusives to each other same as growlthe-vulpix and psyduck-slowpoke even meowth-mankey. I'm soo pleased I picked diamond over pearl as if i had i would never of got my fav gen 4 pokemon, Skuntank.
Yeah I'm going to evolve my Roselia when it learns petal dance.
I find it funner then chain breeding or anything like that. A favourite game is hard.... Silver was my first game but fire red was my main game for years but I'm playing a lot of diamond at the moment after finishing white.... I don't know they're all awesome, do you have one?
Haven't got a favourate area but I like the groups area.

you should do it's one of my favourite episodes. ha I owe quite a lot to sandshrew actually. My aunt thought Sandshrew was really cute and got me to catch it on leaf green, beat the electric gym all by itself :D
Good choice of type ;) well water is almost always my starter and Gyarados has helped me out of tough spots before and I think slowpoke, psyduck, seel and spheal are awesome. Yeah ground types are awesome. I was so diapointed when I found my cranidos/rampardos was pure rock still use it but even so. To tell the truth a lot of grass types bore me apart from the grass starters, Rosilia family which really helps in diamand and victreebel which still makes me laugh chomping on james in the show. So most of grass types I like are part poison anyway..
I like the forum thanks. I feel a bit of a novice actually dispite being a fan since I was about 7 years old. I didn't even know what EVs were without a quick trip to bulbapedia. Some of thepeople here take it so seriously. I don't bother with natures or anything like that. I just find a pokemon I like ignoring how strong it actually is and just raise it. I find that more rewarding to win with pokemon you like and spend the game with rather then a lendendary you catch right near the end.

hey. Thank you :) well, I don't know about favourite but Arbok is definetly up there. I always loved snakes, the first card I got was off a friend who gave me 'dark Arbok' and one of the first episodes I saw was the Misty Mermaid where Jessie's Arbok defeated Misty's entire team, Ash's Squirtle and a fair number of the Cerulean City's Gym's pokemon on top. So that's really why I like Arbok :) Is yours Sandshrew?
My favourite type is poison because it has so many of my favourite pokemon in it but I have a soft spot for water types as thats usually my starter and dark types. What are yours?

ahh haha. i was messing about earlier. i was at greg0915's house, he sed ur cool and up for a laugh so i sent the crazy message. ;) i trade sometimes, but greg made me start a new game on my white. he's got all my pokemon, but he cant be bothered to give them back at the moment :S
