I'm in a small borough too, but we are so close to the city centre that they can't ignore us *that* much. It took us 40 years to get a metro station though.
About quietness... I wish.

Is NYT so bad? XD It's one of the cities you have to visit at least once in your lifetime, but I guess that, after living there for years, the fun wears off XD

And to think we complain when the metro takes 4 minutes to arrive instead of the usual three. We are spoiled. But doesn't NY also have an Underground system?
