Well, either way, once PH ends, we'll be sure to see more of Dofla and his crew. I'd love to see more of Baby 5, especially cuz she's hot. But since Dofla's been hyped up so much, I have a feeling Luffy-Law alliance alone won't be able to do the job. They'll probably have to work with the Kid-Hawkins-Apoo alliance. They were planning to go against the yonkou too, right? So yeah, I can see something like Law + Luffy + Kid + Apoo + Hawkins vs Big Mom + Dofla. :p Actually, it was a result of Smoker's pride. He didn't want to be indebted to Law and thus, instead of trying to finish Vergo off himself and risking Law's life (Vergo had the heart so he could dispose of Law anytime), he chose to get the heart back. I mean, imagine Smoker winning the fight with Vergo but with Law dead. How would a prideful marine like Smoker live his life as he'll be unable to pay Law back since he's dead? So yeah, that's probably why he did that. ;p
Well, Aokiji sure got messed up there. I'm really wanna see how much Akainu was damaged in their exchange now. ;_;

That sucks. :( I really hate it when good franchises end so abruptly like that. It's really why I don't get into too many franchises at one time, I'm always afraid that they will end up cutting the series short, and all the fans are left with is the old games. Which, if they were any good, would be okay, I guess. But still, it's a bit disheartening. Especially if you're not even familiar with such a series yet, like me on this one. Makes me think if I should still try it out. :(

Naw I'll get suspended yet still do nothing at him even if I take action. He's too fat, huge, immune to any form of attack (probably has high defenses, maybe he'll make a good wall for like a competitive team) and all that junk.
That's pretty much what happens when you control how things go, as the writers do in the Pokémon anime. Hahaha. When it does activate conveniently at the right times, I can't help but to just think it funny. And yeah I don't know even why Pikachu's ability goes on and off for such long periods of time, but at least he's learning some new tricks every now and then, like Electro Ball and Volt Tackle. I find that reassuring; proves that we're not stuck with a pre-Gen III Pikachu, haha. I'll probably have a Flame Body Volcarona if I chose to anyway, because it's a lot more useful in battle. Besides, you might be right, I mean I think the Pokémon can suppress their abilities if the anime suggests that they can. I often just fill up my party to six because I can't choose among the many Pokémon that I always want to use in my team so I guess I find it a little off-putting when people don't have like the magic six. But I guess if that's your style then it's okay.

And sometimes they also write in little comments in the video itself acknowledging that they screwed up and reacted unbecomingly at a specific point in that video, hahaha. Sometimes LPs are just entertaining to watch. It's like a talkative bro playing the console at home, with you just sitting back and watching. XD

It is out of date! There are way too many new buildings around our place that are still plain patches of land there, haha.

I've always thought that it was more of appreciating our rich history and culture and whatnot. But I suppose you could do that, too. :P I'm still really vague as to how certain fields help the world at present, er, progress, after all.

I might have to post again (but I think it will try to merge them, and editing doesn't bump...I hate deleting and reposting LMAO).

Ack...I was trying to announce the impending American release of Meloetta - I'm certain it's on Dec. 8, just awaiting confirmation somewhere. Didn't know we had a thread for discussing all of these in general. LMAO

If you see me sending another report, expect it to be some noob making a thread for a simple question.

But yeah, I love reporting threads cos it helps the mods in some way. And I love helping them out, I never mini-mod, I just click the report button cos it's the right thing to do.

That actually makes sense. As depressing as it sounds. :( Does it have any newer titles in development? Or is it just practically dead/finished as a franchise as of now? I mean, that's just sad. I wish it got a wider fanbase so that it at least went on to produce more great titles.

That's true! Even though the anime makes exceptions from abilities and Pokédex entries what with Ash hugging Muk and other technically hazardous-to-touch Pokémon. But yeah, better get a Dream World Volcarona then, if you ever wanted to snuggle up to it in the cold. :3 Wait, an HM slave fills a slot of your party? B-but why? D: Why not just fill it with a sensible party member and just store the slaves in your PC? You could just swap them in whenever you needed the HM anyway. :<

I know right? Plus they also tend to react hilariously when they get really surprised about random things. XD

Well, one of the managers (There were 2 - One for the kitchen staff, and one for the dining room/lounge) had a dying family member in the neighboring province, so she asked the owner for a few days off. And being the jerk he was, he said no. She asked him once more, to the same result, so she decided on her own to go anyways, full well knowing she'd be fired.

She never made it to her destination in time to say goodbye.

When she returned, he called and fired her. Word of her firing spread through the store like wildfire, and as she walked out, so did everyone else.

Yeah. He was all sorts of creepy. I even managed to barely miss having to deal with him in person. By a matter of hours.

Well, the story leading up to that event was really saddening.

The first job I was fired from was weird. They had 2 awesome managers that saw potential in me, and a creepy owner that watched us via cameras from about 2 hours away, and would do nothing but criticize how bad you're doing.

It's no wonder why everyone walked out 4 months after I was fired.

Yeah, unfortunately. Hopefully my next job will go a bit better.
