  • Hey, how's it going? been a while since we chatted here :) I just read a bit of ur blog (gtg soon so didn't get to see much and that video had the face of a scary girl so i didn't dare to look at it :() I hope i can get a supporter as a b'day gift too! ^^ If not I'll have to wait 1 more year to get my credit card and im gonna get PC Supporter 3 :) cya!
Yeah, I kinda fell off the Pokemon world for a while. xD I've been checking back here every now and again. I don't see myself being too active just yet though. Either way, thank you. ^_^
True. I'm happy that you've had lots of fun. PC being the first forum where you made real friends is really saying something, so I really believe that you have the best interests for this place like you say. And that Veteran emblem will come to you without you even realizing it. That's how it was for me at least, lol.
Hey! It's going pretty well. Finals week is just around the corner, and there's only a handful of exams left till I get to enjoy a short, well-deserved break from uni. That said, VMs are hard to type out even now, so I will likely only reply during this exam period once or twice. How's it going for you, Hikari?

Haha. It's always great to have a sense of getting better at things, especially those you've been doing for a long time. As for the posts, I believe that you've always been improving, and that, seeing you right now, you post stellar greetings all the time. I take no credit for it, although the Cid effect sounded pretty catchy when I first read it. :P
    O hi Hikari,
    Yes I remember ^^
I've found my way to the Ice-Pokémon Club. Today and probably tomorrow I'm going to take a look at the Fire-Pokémon Club. :)
Next week I will definitely check out the art section, because I really enjoy great photo's and works of art, made in Photoshop or an other program or drawings.
And when I find myself settled in, the other sections will follow pretty fast I guess. ^^
You know your show sucks when nobody in Melbourne watches a bit.
I think it was the drunk man part or the dick painter part.
Yes I have started looking through the Pokemon in the game and started picking out which ones I would like to catch the most. As for my starter I'm probably going with Oshawott as I've always been more into water Pokemon.
Mm, I hardly know 5th gen to be completely honest, I can name most of the Pokemon encountered in Unova but when it comes to naming gym leaders, items and places, I'm hopeless haha. It's probably because I was never really a fan of the generation, it didn't have the same spark for me as the 4th and I'm still trying to understand why. I was pretty lazy back then when I started playing it though so I just think I had lost a little enthusiasm for Pokemon at the time, but now that it's been mentioned, perhaps I'll start playing it again and pick up again from Clay. :3

Oh haha it's alright, when I played Platinum I didn't know HM moves weren't deletable unless you went to the Move Deleter. I ended up teaching my Infernape two HM moves and Close Combat along with a weak fire-type move. The good old days :')! But those sorts of mistakes are also fun to do, it gives you a challenge and also you can learn for next time.

Ah yeah I remember you saying you liked Dawn, I've watched maybe around ten episodes of the Sinnoh saga? I sort of lost my enthusiasm for the anime after it repeatedly aired episodes again and again, it just got really repetitive and boring for me x_x. I still pick Piplup every time I play actually, there's something I like about water-types but I can't figure that out either. Although every once and a while I like trying new things, new experiences!

I don't particularly like working with slow Pokemon either although usually the slowness is often overcome by the fact of its bulkiness and strength, which I like. I used to always aim for the fastest, the speediest, the hardest hitters but I've learnt it's also great to throw in a bit of variety into your team, walls, spike setters, rain dancers, it helps in competitive play at least.

Chimchar hmm. I was never too fond of it surprisingly, something about it threw me off. I thought it's design was cool and sleek but in Platinum there were so many unique fire-types that easily beat Infernape for me such as Houndoom and Magmortar, although yeah it was a great starter.

Piplup was amazing, despite not having the strongest water moves, I liked how the stats were all balanced well instead of focused on maybe one or two. The steel-type thrown in was nice, except the ground weakness was a bit irritating especially when dealing with Pokemon that had Earthquake, that was its flaw for me when facing Cynthia, although that was only one battle so I can't complain too much. :x
You know your 4th Gen well Hikari :3. The lack of fire-types was irritating, seeing as they were a powerful and also a good type to have handy on your team. I think most people liked Piplup and Turtwig as well so it must of been frustrating if they disliked Ponyta but wanted a good fire type attacker, you know what I mean?

The Distorion World was a wonderful place, I think the creators put a lot of time thinking and developing this place, the storyline behind it was creative and interesting, the design overall was sleek and eerie. Also it is interesting the idea of Cyrus wanting to end the Pokemon universe, that was deep. It wasn't like the usual stealing Pokemon as seen with Team Rocket they went a whole lot deeper with the villains as well which I personally liked.

I never did either to be honest haha, actually I recently played Crystal but on a solo run. It was good fun, you should try it some time honestly! Yeah there was a great postgame, I do hope they put in the exploration of two regions in later games, to add more things to do and see, new sights, new Pokemon, new opportunities.

Mm, that's what sequels and remakes are made for! To improve their previous games and make it more enjoyable and interesting. :3
I could argue against that actually haha, HG/SS had the ability of two storylines, one of Johto and the other Kanto. There was more action and drama in the storylines, along with the Kimono GIrls, Suicune and Euisine, better character personalities etc. Although I have to admit D/P/Pt did a great job on their storyline and plot as well, especially the Distorion World and the designs of places.

Yeah Platinum all the way! To be completely honest they could of thrown more into D/P but Platinum delivered that so yeah. :3
Yeah it was haha except I think it used to be 3rd Gen to be honest. :p

And I did :3, I liked HG/SS for all of the new features, graphics and gameplay over D/P/Pt, although they're both great games in my opinion!
Mm... I wouldn't call it an obsession. XD

I just like Fourth Gen quite a bit seeing it was my first :3, so I just like discussing and making topics there I suppose. ;x
Haha yes you are, you're a great person to be around. :3

Oh really? :x. I like the activities usually, we go to all sorts of places such as museums and labs and yeah! I'd be interested in seeing what sorts of places you went to when you were in school haha, also I can understand. I think I've gotten lost twice in all my six years of excursions. x_x

    Haha, I saw. :3
