Yeah it's not so bad. Your drill sergeants are only dicks for the first few weeks, after that they are cool. Well unless you end up getting a ***** for a CO like my company had. During our final field training exersize as soon as we got done with our 10 mile march our CO had First Sergeant make us hold crates of MRE's above our heads and jog around the forward operating base for about an hour. But I don't think you'll have to worry about that, I don't think the Air Force does field training exersizes.
The 2 year reserves in my contract means that those last 2 years I don't have to show up to drill, but I am still apart of that unit. So say if my unit gets deployed then they can call me back into service.
