    Of course it is safe, because I have never changed any important things so there's no need to restart. And what's more, please use the newest Beta 3.13 patch, a important bug was fixed in this beta.

    I cant because its entered into a contest for Vizzed... when the contest is over (if I dont win) I will make one... if I win... I cannot... BUT if your playing it on vizzed you are downloading the rom already (check in your program data folder on your c drive)

    It's hard to know for sure how to get the best balance of the nostalgia and the new stuff. But the more I think about it, I am leaning toward keeping it a Gen II hack instead of Red, but I still haven't decided for sure. The Orange Islands part of the game and the ease of scripting in Gold is really drawing me toward staying that way. But we'll see.

    That's true, and it would make hacking easier. I just know that it would also make it take longer since you have to remake all the events and everything. But I'll keep that in consideration when I get around to starting back working on it. You aren't the only one who's requested Gold either (but there are also people who've requested Red as well. So I'll just have to see what feels better).

    I never can seem to make up my mind on that. On the one hand, Red would be easier for the Kanto part of the game. But when it came to adding the Orange Islands it would be a LOT easier to use Gold as the base.

    Yes, make an ips file by using the Graphics Patch 1.2 as the base and Tough Red as the new file, then apply that ips to a clean red rom.

    Been progressing quite nicely :D
    the first few chapters of the game feel super polished now, because i keep going over the story and events, continuously tuning them and combing the dialogue.

    looking forward to finally getting all the rebalancing done. it's a long time coming.
