I'm sure it's been brought up in previous years but I don't remember events from Summer 2012 so that means it would've been at least 4 years since the last PC Olympics. You can't tell me anything at all? We'll have to invent our own cipher :P

I'm surprised it hasn't already been brought up. Like Olympics are a popular worldwide thing. The opening ceremony starts on the 7th or 8th so yeah two weeks. GT2016 is so long from now though :( Keep me updated on the feedback if you can, I'll try to help with ideas but I have limited creativity with a lot of the sections.

I'm not sure if I'm creative enough to come up with an Olympic-themed event before it's too late. A community-wide Olympic event would be amazing, especially if each participating section was like a country and members would choose a section to represent :3 that's so much planning in so little time though :\ It depends on if you can get other staff aboard quickly.
I know that RHCP and Brendino are open to suggestions and I'm sure they would love to have an Olympic event but I don't really know what to suggest...

One event will have three emblems whereas the other only has one. The debates will have a random Olympic motif because the other events are only associated to Valentine's and anime.

Every event that I've entered throughout my time at PC has rewarded a participation emblem so it's like a standard to me but I agree with you that participation emblems aren't necessary. Out of my 16 emblems, only 6 of them were actually earned -_-

It would be neat to see what people would come up with but I'm not sure how many people would actually take the time to do it. It seems like something that the writers on this site would find interesting but I'm not sure how many writers visit the anime section.

The reason why I say there should be a medal system for the card contest is because of the inconsistency between that and the debate, but I'm confused on what you're saying about the participation emblems. Are you saying that there won't be any participation emblems?

We could actually do a medal system for the card competition too. Like Gold emblem for first, silver for second, etc. How would the appeal event work?

I just assumed that everyone obtained the material illegally... With the popularity of XY hopefully the Episode Discussions will be more active, especially wth the dub because not a lot of people are into the dub :( I recently realized that the Olympics are taking place during the Valentine's events (or near that time) and I think it would be cool to make an event associated with the Olympics. What do you think? Or maybe do a medal system for the Shipping Debates?

would you like to see episode where Ash has to win a Major individual Tournament only using a Goomy .
Suppose , Ash find a trainer abusing a Goomy (like Laprus ) and he protect it but that guy insult Goomy as the weakest dragon type Pokemon and leave .
Then Ash enter a town that hosting a major tournament with trainer who has Powerful Pokemon Rhyperior ,Dragonite , Drapion etc.
Ash see's that mean trainer participating with his Garchamp and then Ash notice that Goomy he rescued is following him .
Then Team Rocket attack , Ash defect them with the help Goomy and then Goomy join the Team.
Anyway at the end of this episode , Ash announce that he will show everyone Goomy's Power by winning the whole Tournament using Gloomy . He make a badass pose when he announce this .
But his first opponent is the Tournament using a Gardvoir , Can't he win ???
This is the type of challenge people want Ash to face & overcome !
Instate of haxing a complete rookie and make him look like a big challenge.

I've always had my suspicions of streaming... Looks like 2014 will be the anti2012 with all of the planned events. So people dominantly discussed shipping all throughout 2012?

I'd probably have more done in the revamp if I set hard deadlines for myself, but that's too big of a risk of disappointment with my other commitments that have a tendency to be a bit unpredictable.

Speaking of Caption Contest and GT, was there ever a winner from the contest back in July?

Having a Caption Contest and Card events seems a little redundant to me. There's also the Manga Caption Contest going on right now in PGen and there may be another one soon.

Sounds good to me, that's how Zach and Olli managed their movie streams during the last GT. So I guess that wraps up our planning for the PAT :3

What are the requirements for being earning stream points? Do they just have to show up and say something, will they have to actively watch a minimum of one episode, or will they have to post about at least one of the streamed episodes in the WAC?
