  • Hey sorry for not tell you shiny by chat, Might teach me how to compile c routines, not compile anything.
OK I'll test out IDA again.

Thank you so much for SEA works great in linux :) I'm glad you're still working on those, they appear to be a nice improvement from the older ones. Thanks again
Tried the Freeware (5.0) said I needed a new version. Tried 6.5, and it says it can't open file extension idb, do I need to download a database for it or plugin or something??
Also I wanted to know if you are still working on SEA&MEH, if not, do you still have a working link to SEA, it'd be nice.
Thanks a lot!! I guess I'll use that as a basis & figure out the debugger through trial and error. Hope you have the time to make the ASM tutorial, since you practically always come out with useful information.

Thanks for answering too, I appreciate you taking that bit of time. Good Luck
I was wondering if you could lead me to some tutorials on how to "hack" a rom to decode specials and figure how the internals work. I want to start researching the games engine, just need a starting point. Any help is appreciated
Yes, i know that the better way in the information technology is relase your project as open source.
Hi shiny quagsire, first of all i must say thanks for post in my thread and give ur opinion, it's great to see it.
Btw, i must say too that i will go to post the source code when i release the path, but if you want, i can send you an small copy to see and maybe give me ur opinion. (About the routines of course..)
What do you say? Di you want to see it? (There is the first version so maybe it can be more optimized or not, but it works fine!)
Hey, I was wondering if you could tell me how you managed to make the Copy Player movement behaviour actually work in FireRed? I don't particularly need the the Follow Me function itself (though your work on it is super impressive) but it'd be really useful to be able to have a properly-functioning Copy Player movement.
