Oh yeah, the new secret bases are awesome! I cannot wait to be able to create mine. I'm so glad that part of generation III is back. So much nostalgia. And agreed, Metagross deserved a Mega. I was really hoping to see it. Any other Megas you're hoping for?

"Almost everyone" kinda varies by what circles of people or community you're talking about. :P Smogon and Showdown, is yeah - primarily singles players. Did you know ALL official tournaments for Pokemon, and a considerable portion of ranked match players on X/Y cartridge play doubles though? I used to play singles actually ^^ Before I got into heavy deep and dirty metagame play hahah. I think as pokemon evolved forwards into the gens, becoming more and more competitive minded, singles became more and more broken, and less and less appealing to me. It's easier to exploit, less balanced in terms of what can be used and the amount of RNG independent as well as prediction independent factors that decide a match are much greater in Singles. There's some reasons they use doubles for all tournaments haha.

Hah well see there's our issue. I don't play singles, I don't use top usage sets, and I don't even use Showdown. :P So just about 100% of these suggestions; while I appreciate your generosity in sharing what I imagine, is your very considerable singles in Showdown experience and knowledge, it is alas - useless to me. And will remain so.

Well that's fine and dandy, but I've already posted the Trevenant set I posted, and I'm not going to edit it; since it does exactly what it needs in countering that quagsire. :P So I can only assume you're giving me these as you say better sets, to suggest them for my usage, right?

I am overall very happy with it. Super glad to see Pokemon Amie returning, and I am also pleased with the new gym leader and elite four designs. Mega Metagross is absolutely awesome. What do you think?
