  • Disneyland? I've been to the Disney parks in Orlando many times. Good stuff, but i've never gotten to go in California, unfortunately. I would love to go to Japan someday...
    Nice! Marie Rose looks so adorable with pig-tails.. XD Hmm; I recall Kasumi having a clone/clones from before (Alpha-152 is all I can remember at the moment); I hope they don't go overboard. XD

    Did they change just a few of Sarah's moves or revamp her entirely for DOA5U? :o It can get discouraging when characters get unnecessarily overhauled in their movesets.. :/ Great; thanks for the offer - I'll keep it in mind if I ever manage to snag Dead or Alive: Dimensions! :)

    Does "DW" and "SW" refer to Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors...? ~_~ If so, they seem to be faring well, although I thought they were more or less on par with the Dead or Alive series - the main thing I recall about Dynasty Warriors is "that hack-and-slash series with an innumerable amount of sequels and spinoffs". XD I was actually thinking of checking out Samurai Warriors 3 (particularly because Nintendo's Takamaru character of The Mysterious Murasame Castle is apparently in it) and to get a feel of the series' gameplay before the Legend of Zelda-laced Hyrule Warriors comes out (which I'm really stoked for ^^). The trailers for Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper looked really captivating as well and seemed to showcase the Wii U's abilities decently.

    True point about Street Fighter - although in my experience, it seems like games such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (plus the Ultimate Edition), BlazBlue, andthe Naruto: Ultimate Ninja: Storm subseries have risen to greater prominence compared to Mortal Kombat in the past few years, or have at least been garnering more attention. {although doesn't Super Smash Bros. count..? D:}

    Wow; that's interesting. :o It kind of makes sense; I heard way more about the series during the DOA4/DOAXB2 era compared to nowadays. And DOAXB2 does have the added factor of the fanservice/bikinis (although from what I glimpsed, the outfits for the game looked nice and seemed very..extravagant? Not sure if that's the right word.. >_>) and large heapings of Jiggle Physics.. {XD} Ooh, nice collection! :D Do you happen to own the 2007 Dead or Alive live-action movie, too? :P

    Ah, good to know, then (regarding VMs)! ^^
    Oh, wow! :D Aww; that sucks.. :( I would think that most people gamers would have at least heard of the series (I relatively hear about it as much as I do of the Soul Calibur series, which seems to be somewhat popular).. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to actually play the series yet (which really bugs me; it seems like a solid fighter/fighting game) - back when it was mostly in print, the Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine covered Dead or Alive 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 a bit extensively, so those 2 games kind of acted as a gateway to expose me to a little more of the series.

    I really love the character designs and backgrounds and outfits featured in the series - Hitomi (probably my #1 {<3}), Kokoro, Kasumi, Christie, and Ryu Hayabusa (although he's technically from Ninja Gaiden, similar to Momiji's guest spot?) are some of my favorite DOA characters. :) I also like how the series gets linked to other series from time to time (primarily with Ninja Gaiden, along with the Metroid connections from Dead or Alive: Dimensions and the Virtua Fighter guest spots for Dead or Alive 5)..

    But yeah, I'm hoping to actually try out the series some day (Dimensions would probably be the closest iteration I'd get to play). I'm not sure how the series has fared since Tomonobu Itagaki left Team Ninja and Tecmo, though - DOA5 has apparently gotten a few revamps..? ~_~

    (sorry for the lengthy VM! XD)
    Ah, well i'd hope you like it there. Is there anything really cool in the area that you've had the chance to do since being there?
    I mean like if it's usually not too different from what you'd expect from most respective seasons, sorry if that wasn't clear.

    But that said, thanks for allowing me to friend you! Your theme is quite cute.
    Ah man, well I work outside, and when it rains I don't like to be out there. How is it in Japan regularly? Typical fare?
    Thank you for the anniversary well wishes earlier; I wasn't aware that it had passed! :) XD Nice flowers on your profile, and beautiful signature! (looks like someone from the Dead or Alive series, if I'm guessing correctly?)
    The thing with me and Anime is, I really need to get into it.

    Otherwise I grow bored.

    So, I've only ever completed 1 anime. :/
