Hiatus

Cool, I would appreciate it. I almost got another chapter done, I got to the end of the gym battle, which takes up most of it, but I need to cap it off by tying it back to a plot point from the first chapter. That'll happen tomorrow most likely. I really am getting into this story.

That stinks, I guess it's better since classes start soon for you anyway, but I was looking forward to seeing some of your work, even if it was a short sample haha.

Did you ever collect all 200 standard chips and then battle the secret bosses in the secret Area?

Haha, just kidding. The first chapter is called "Awaken," appropriately enough. Not sure yet on any others, although I did write a chapter waaaaay ahead in the story called "Room to Breathe," and I'm really looking forward to getting to that part, but it's gonna be a little while.

I thought so. It really becomes a common noun at that point (unless you ask the old games, where no matter what it's a GYM) haha. Thanks for the second opinion though. I've gotten on a pretty good roll so far, finished one chapter and moving through the next one pretty good. Would still like to get a little more done before I'm ready to post any of it though.

Gym battle! Do you capitalize gym when it's by itself or only if it's preceded by the town/city? I left it lowercase (he walked up to the gym).

Not much, chillin out. Might try to work on the fanfic now that I have plenty of time. I've been so far from it this week that I need to get my thoughts for it back on track haha.

Yeah, that was the one drawback x_x I did like the side plot in the Sevii Islands, but I think it would've had more of an impact if it were part of the main plot (and if it didn't require you to have data on 60 Pokemon in order to access the rest of the islands; I don't think that would've happened if it became part of the main plot, though XD). Having both regions involved in the main storyline would be a loooot better.

Yeah, they were pretty fantastic. They did a lot of cool shooting star like effects and they had some really big ones, it was awesome. It is a nice area to visit, the beach is kind of small since the two hurricanes (or superstorms as they're apparently really called) hit and eroded them, but it's a very family friendly area for the most part and it's pretty calm here. Nice spot to relax for a week.

Ocean City, NJ. Chilling at the beach a little bit, I got to see some fireworks last night and walk on the boardwalk. They have really good pizza here too.
