I think the Steven and Connie thing is kind of cute, but then there are some seriously twisted people out there who ruin it. The Sadie and Lars thing is kind of confusing and the gems are sort of best alone except for the canon Sapphire + Ruby pairing. But, still pairing fan fics aren't that original. I would love to see more Rose speculation, maybe.
