You've got a point. It's a bit frustrating but it's not gonna change.

By mentoring I suppose what I was thinking was someone willing to introduce a person to the scene, like to recommend specific tools, answer simple questions, etc.

I guess it's sorta a matter of emphasis, because as it is the Recruitment thread is useless :(

I'm kinda stuck on the issue, but here's what I was thinking:

So we have two things: major team recruiting can be done in hack threads (which is usually what happens already), and then we could implement a sort of mentoring system (in essence replacing the Recruitment thread, which is used solely by beginners anyway) like they have in the Welcome Lounge (of course then we will have the issue of number of willing and capable members).

I feel like there should be a better way to handle Team building
