Ah, it's been a quiet one. I just found out my next semester wont be started for another 20 days, so.. all I can do at the moment is study by myself.
I have an exam on the 16th, it's gonna be my all time first one- I'm death-scared omg.
About Team Flare: Grunts are stupid and annoying as always and Lysander's motives are questionable on so many levels; but yeah, Team.. Flare? Why choose Fire to represent Kalos' evil team? Because in many cultures Fire is believed to be able to purge someone/something that has been contaminated with evil and darkness~ and that's exactly what Lysander's after: clean the world from evil and selfishness by burning it down with the flares of AZ's Weapon.
Quite an obscure reference.
And I'm sounding like a freak so I'm gonna stop here xD

Uhm. I dunno.. Part of the fun about Pokemon, for me, is carrying over my own Pokemon to newer games so I can always have them~ I also like to nickname them so they're.. special, even more they'd be if they were shiny or had unique movesets..
I guess I'm just too sentimental, but that'd make me sad it they had to be stuck in one game without possibility to be traded over for obvious reasons.
But yeah, I do agree Pokemon as a series it's just so.. repetitive. Partly in a good way as the Zelda and Mario franchises are, but the story! It's always the same, collect all the badges, defeat the evil team and beat the E4 and the Champion.
That's it.
If they gave Pokemon an actual storyline that'd be so refreshing and interesting go say the least! I think they got it quite about right with Gen V, developing a concept that basically questioned Pokemon at its core; but they discarded it without unfolding it properly and..
well, then Gen 6 happened.
Dullest story ever made, but the Pokemon designs were pretty great (despite everyone hate them, I love Pokemon like Klefki, lol)
