Long? That felt like yesterday, to be honest. xD I'm actually surprised that it has been a whole year since I came back to PC, like wow. And almost a year since all of us banded up at PokéTrivia (which also felt like yesterday, legit).

I hate to destroy the suspense, but the "S" just stands for "SLANDER." xD I screenshotted the message notification but I cropped it since it was taking too much space. Anti-climax, huh? :D

Yup, they're over now! I guess I did good on one of them and so-so on the others, but yeah I'm relieved that they're behind me now haha.

That's good! Seems like you've got a lot more going on than me, eheheh. I didn't do too much for holidays but it was pretty fun!

Quite hard actually. Theory was easy, but in practice there are so many things you have to do at once, in a specific order while also taking everything in the surroundings in mind.

Basically there are two types of play that alternate each other: combat and roleplaying (non-combat). In combat you take turns like most RPG games in which you can attack opponents with the attacks and other powers you know, involving a lot of dice rolling. The rest is mostly roleplaying in which basically anything can happen. One person plays the Dungeon Master who plays for the monsters and NPCs, builds the world and makes up the story.
Normally you play the entire story (which is endless, unless decided otherwise) with one character that levels and grows during the game. You can put as much detail in your character as you want, but if you just have their basic personality in mind, that's enough to play with.

That sounds annoying. I'm not sure if I would be suited for lab work like that. I think I'm just going to post a reminder in every post then, that shouldn't be super spammy if you only check back once a month. xD

And why would I ship my stuff all the way to England? xD But no, we don't do presents with Christmas, but we had some with Sinterklaas (which is kinda equivalent to Christmas) half a month earlier. I didn't get much interesting, some school stuff, a card game called Boss Monster, an usb and probably some other things that don't come to mind at the moment. You got anything interesting?

I procrastinated starting for a long time too, but after two years I though I should give it a try. (Not sure if I will still have the time for it if I procrastinate longer and once you got a license, you have it for the rest of your life, if you don't screw up, that is.) I'm not good at Mario Kart either, but constantly driving at full speed doesn't seem the cleverest idea to do on a public road. (And then there also these people who like to place traffic lights and such.)

We've only played one session so far, but I must say yes. Most of them were still new to the game (so I stayed up until midnight to help them over Skype with creating their characters the night before), but they picked up the basics very quickly. One of them, ironically one of the experienced players, already messed up by putting on a cursed ring, but I that's his problem (at least I hope it's just his problem, we haven't found out what it does exactly).

That does sound very interesting, are you looking for a specific property of the structure or just randomly experimenting and hoping you'll find something useful? Be sure to send me a link to the article once your group has published something, I'd love to read it. :D
HoMM? I believe I've played it for a bit, but I didn't find it very interesting, but that could also be caused by the fact it was the old Gameboy Color game. I've never tried LoL, I heard it's really hard to get into, with the huge amount of playable characters the game has.

Meanwhile, Christmas has already passed (damn, I took long to reply, sorry for that), but we didn't do much special, just visited some family and played card and board games. It was a lot of fun! Have you done anything interesting?
