Congrats on the recent shiny's dude. I haven't gone too far back into the post history of the group but I noticed you got two shiny Johto starters within 30 encounters of each other, that's amazing!

I hadn't played Pokemon for about 6 years but I recently picked up Sun and played through and decided I'd try get a few shiny's. I've started hunting Johto starters on 2 systems and have so far racked up 5670 SR's which is 17k seen mon's. It's starting to wear on me, it's my longest hunt!

Anyway, good to see you're still going and your shiny hunt has been so fruitful.

Since pokemon US & UM dont have UBs locked I am shiny hunting a pheromosa
But since I last was on I didn't do a lot shiny hunting
My last shiny was a poplio

I've been good! Lots of interesting life things have happened since leaving, have also gotten more into programming and traveled quite a bit.

Forum says my last post in SHC was May 18th, 2012.. Just under four years ago. Feels way longer ago than that. The memories right now are really cool, amazing how big a part of my life that place had become..

I was going through some old archives when I found Xchat logs from IRC. Remember that? Pretty sure I was spending more time there than on the forums at one point.. I remember pulling the plug on #SHC as it was getting pretty dead, but #TC is still going, believe it or not.

Anyway, it inspired me to log on here and see if anyone I remembered was still around. Turns out a good few still are! Doubt I'll return to previous levels of activity (I had a *lot* of free time back then.. probably part of the nostalgia) but I'll probably pop in now and then to see what's up with everyone.

Haven't touched Pokemon since BW2. Might pick up one of the 3DS ones if they go on sale, for old time's sake..

Well I just tried a Nuzlocke of Omega Ruby and failed it at Watson with Treecko as my starter. Planning to try Omega Ruby as a Wedlocke now

wow, seriously, 4 years? it must be a record lol :). It's good to VM again. the last post was about that volcarona time of black and White. It feels like it was just yesterday. And what a coincidence its about a hunt of a place where you encounter fire types. lol.
That's a high number, i think you are really close to that shiny. My hunt is going good, just that i can't count my encounters due to multitasking, but gave some level to my zigzagoon so it can pick up some decent ítems. In which game are you hunting, normal ruby or omega ruby? i'm whith omega ruby.
