okkk actually same. We've played the games so often that I guess it's something we get a little bit less attached to nowadays. I do like being able to change my starter's ability to its HA though, like I did for my Cinderace, and then fixing it up a bit with bottlecaps/mints etc. That way I can have a strong, competitively viable Pokémon that I got as my first for that region. <3

Omg... 400 hours?! I'd be distraught. I'm so sorry. :(( All the nostalgia lost there, I so know how difficult that must have been. But I'm glad you managed to get past it, I'm sure you have other super old mons now to be attached to lol.

And ooh yeah trying new teams is fun. I'm going to try not using the same mons I did in DP on BDSP, otherwise it won't be as fun. Might try the likes of Skuntank/Purugly, Gastrodon, etc, and see how it goes!!

Trying a new team seems fun though, as tempted as I am to use Luxray and other favs it might get a little boring. But heck if Luxray, Staraptor, etc aren't awesome so it's a hard choice to pass on them aha. Have you been keeping up with the leaks at all??

also omg T_T I would be distraught. I kind of know that feel actually, just on a different level, I had a bunch of mons in my Diamond file but really wanted to start over so I made a new file and erased everything to play again... and regretted it not long after lol. Never getting my first few shinies back now.. ;_;

gah idk. I love Wartortle, he looks so cool and is my #1 of all the starter stages! But also lots of love to the Johto starters as a whole, Snivy line, Scorbunny line.. also I love Fennekin and Litten, but I'm biased towards fox and cat mons haha. Was considering trying a new starter in BDSP since I've used Piplup so much in Sinnoh, but not sure if I'll be able to do it. smol penguin also cute <3

Snivy yas!! One of my favs. I started out liking Oshawott a lot but then got Contrary Snivy and it became one of my favs :3c Bulbasaur too, can't not love mr. #001. I like them all but not so much the 'round' middle stages like Pignite and Quilladin.. sorry you two :'(

Fair enough they're not the type of games for everyone! I've always enjoyed being able to build and level up characters so I like games that are grind-focused in terms of building your characters and making them strong. Oh I heard about the Marvel VS Capcom spin-off but never looked into it, would you recommend? I'm just picturing Phoenix Wright getting into a fistfight w/ Spiderman at the moment :D

There's a lot of good ROM hacks I've heard! I've never tried a ROM hack yet but I think 90% of people joined PC for reasons like Shiny Gold :P Hopefully you find a good one. I've not heard of Nexomon & Monster Sanctuary before but they look interesting! And I didn't realise Yugioh could be played online though that makes sense, I am just used to seeing people play with the cards in person hahah

Very true, there are a few games I come back to and wonder how I spent so much time on them but they're very nostalgic. I only really picked up video games again this year but outside of Pokemon I've been playing through the entire Ace Attorney series and Genshin since a friend introduced me and I got hooked in. I used to be a super big fan of Maplestory but I'm not sure how much has changed since I last played. :D

Fair enough! Yeah I always see HP books getting sold for 1 or 2 dollars at book fairs and they get snatched up quickly so I'm sure they went to a good home. Half Blood Prince is usually thought of as the weakest in the series so you didn't miss much :'D
