  • The Bitch's Tally

I'm sure you're all wondering as to how the lovely touches from the She-Wolf has effected some of the party goers. Here's the exact effects:

One lovely kiss of the hand
    A simple warning, nothing more.
Two lovely kisses of the hand
The receiver of these wonderful gifts becomes too flustered to carry out their actions for the night.
Three or more lovely kisses of the hand
Well as you can see from what happened to our friend earlier, this is the point where someone really begins to test the She-Wolf's patience. People who push her too far perish.
And now, the final tally of these lovely kisses.
    • Rozureido: I
    • GatAttack: I
    • Shak: I
    • Infinite: I
    • Deceptio: II
    • Ice Goddess: II
And the lucky winner of the kiss-of-the-hand contest:
    • Syndrome: IIII I
    An announcement:

The phase change will be delayed until tomorrow. I'm waiting on a rather important action that will completely alter the course that the next phase change will take. The next phase change will also be a long and important one, so be ready for it.

You may continue to converse here until the phase change. Colors are no longer necessary.

  • Day Five
Screams echoed through the night. Lights flashed as fire consumed Haven.

The party had certainly ended with a bang. People were scattered as daemons and undead rampaged. This would be Haven's final night beneath the stars. By tomorrow night, it would be naught but ash.

The party came to a conclusion the moment Syndrome's head was ripped from his body. Seconds later a fireball tore through the air, igniting gimmepie. As he flailed about in a feeble attempt to douse the flames, Lilith's cynical laughter pierced the din of the chaos. The daemons had slain their target.

The Necromancer stepped forward and twirled his staff. He slammed it into the ground and summoned a cloud of blackness that swirled around Melody, permanently snuffing out her light. The Wisp would be making trouble no longer.

Amidst the havoc, Omicron was knocked unconscious, and would have been made an easy target for the Succubus, who had been targeting him so persistently for so long, had the Golem not managed to rouse him to consciousness before burning away completely.

Over in the cemetery, a particular Undead was taking advantage of the confusion. Power flowed through her as she activated her final ability. The Red Mage had been poised to revive one of the corpses, but he stood back as he watched Infinite work her own bit of magic.

The ground began to shake. Dirt was churned into the air as three graves began to reopen. Infinite only knew who one of her targets was, as she had only so much control over her powers. As she watched Sopheria rise from the earth, her own body crumbled into dust.

She couldn't have known that Sopheria was now only a shadow of her former self. Her essence had been stolen away from her . . . and now she'd have to hunt for a new one.

Behind her, the bodies of jdthebud and Zehn also found new life. But every life comes at a cost.

Infinite had been Sopheria's sacrifice, but the other two arrivals needed their own. Just as she hadn't chose to revive these two, Infinite also had no choice in killing Spectrum and GatAttack. In fact, she could never have known that they'd dropped dead just as she disappeared. But the outcome was unavoidable.

The Red Mage walked away. It would appear that he'd be able to save his spell for later. On the other hand, the Necromancer's spell had been sabotaged, thanks to Infinite's untimely demise.

Finally, one more soul would be returning to this realm. A soul that had already crossed over, claimed by the Reaper. But as the Veil Portal's master burned up, it called forth this spirit from beyond the dimensions. Bardothren would be waking up soon, although a bit different in form than before.

The Reaper flew into the cemetery once it had been deserted, claiming the souls of the Incubus and the Psychic Tracker for himself. There was no one left to share these souls with . . . but that wouldn't stop him from doing his job.

The Oracle stared into her crystal ball, but what she saw was merely a reflection of the scene unfolding outside. Her mark for this night was already dead.

Not far away, the Necromancer was weaving through the panicked citizens. During the confusion, he didn't realize Lucifer was following him until the daemon prince was standing directly before him, and the light that radiated from the Hellspawn blinded him before he could see exactly who it was.

The Werebat ran by, but the presence of the Necromancer did . . . something to him. Rather than thieving like normal, he opened his claws, ready to give away all the items he held, though he had none.

The Revenant walked up, meeting the eyes of Golgari and Netto Azure, but neither of them were of any interest to the shambling corpse.

The new Kharis picked two targets of differing blood. She had to start all over in her conquest, but she was making quick work of it.

The Joker watched the night unfold from afar. He'd paid his penance for his mistake the day before, and now it was time to take another risk. He watched the pathetic mongrels squirming around as their quaint town burned to the ground. It was quite the show. After his screw up earlier and the way things were going now . . . he felt that a medium risk would be the best for now. He couldn't take the chance of anything more than that.

And off in the distance, a creature was feeling some unique side effects from the Wisp's final light. It hadn't effected her like it had the others . . . no, she was something else entirely. And not only that, but, thanks to the Reverend, she'd found new love.

gimmepie is dead. He was the Golem.
Melody is dead. She was the Wisp.
Infinite is dead. She was an Undead.
Spectrum is dead. He was an Elf.
GatAttack is dead. He was the Succubus.
    Bardothren has been Resurrected.
    Sopheria has been Resurrected.
    jdthebud has been Resurrected.
    Zehn has been Resurrected.

  • Preparation
    It's time.

With Haven in ruin and terrors still running wild, it's no longer safe nor sensible to remain in this town. The citizens of Haven must now look to the horizon for salvation; they must look to the capital.

The journey won't be short or without its dangers. But for those who reach the capital alive . . . they'll discover their new haven.

In order to maximize efficiency and rates of survival, the remaining citizens of Haven will be split into three groups. They'll be able to choose their groups, but if they fail to choose a group or choose one that is already at capacity, they will be automatically relegated to another group.

These groups will travel separately, and with this change comes a few alterations. Each group will have its own, separate burning each day. Members of each group will only be able to vote for other members of their group. As there will be three groups, this means that there will be three burnings each and every day. On the other hand, the small size of each group and the vigilance of those who keep their watchful gazes on its members prevent any organized night kills from being carried out. This does not prevent kills from individual actions, however.

Additionally, the leaders of each of the three groups will be charged with choosing three of nine packs. Each of these packs contains supplies vital to surviving the journey ahead. They each may contain a combination of food, water, weapons and armor. Each day and night, every player will need to consume one piece of food and one bottle of water. Not doing so will have dire consequences. The only exception to this rule are those who are Undead; obviously, they have no need to eat or drink, so such matters will not effect them.

The journey will last a total of three days and nights. The groups will separate during night five and will reunite during night eight. Day nine will see all the survivors standing in the capital. What happens beyond that point is a mystery. . . .

    Food
Each day and night, all players, with the exception of Undead (but not the Necromancer or players not originally aligned with the Undead), will need to consume one piece of food. If they do not consume any food, they will not be able to carry out their night actions
    until they eat again.
    Water
Each day and night, all players, with the exception of the Undead (but not the Necromancer or players not originally aligned with the Undead), will need to consume one bottle of water. If they run out of water and are unable to consume any, they will perish of dehydration.
    Weapons
Each weapon will have different parameters. They will vary in strength and durability, and these statistics will dictate their effectiveness. Each player may be equipped with a single weapon, but that doesn't mean every player will receive a weapon. What will these weapons be used for? Who knows.
    Armor
Each piece of armor will have different parameters. They will vary in defense and durability, and these statistics will dictate their effectiveness. Each player may be equipped with a single set of armor, but that doesn't mean every player will receive armor. What will this armor be used for? Who knows.

All of these items will be stored in nine separate packs: three large, three medium, and three small. Each group leader will be able to pick one pack of each size. It's first come, first serve, so the most punctual leaders will have first choice. The bags are as follows:
    • Large Black Bag Claimed!
    • Large White Bag Automatically Claimed!
    • Large Gold Bag Claimed!
    • Medium Black Bag Automatically Claimed!
    • Medium White Bag Claimed!
    • Medium Gold Bag Claimed!
    • Small Black Bag Claimed!
    • Small White Bag Claimed!
    • Small Gold Bag Automatically Claimed!

Each group leader should PM me with their choice of bags, and every player should PM me with the group that they wish to join. The three groups include:
    • The α Alpha Group
    • The Δ Delta Group
    • The Ω Omega Group

    Good Luck.
