    Use devkit 45 and also are you sure you used latest python ??
    Your image shows its 2.7
    It seems I had two versions installed at once; I deleted my Python27 folder and now the cmd shows that it's using Python36, however I am still getting errors. (And yep I have devkit v45)

    EDIT: nvm, finally got it working!

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is fixable, but when a Pok?mon levels up from experience gained from capturing a Pok?mon, it won't trigger evolution

    Example:
    Capturing a Pok?mon:
    [EM] Battle Engine Upgrade (On Halt, Will undergo reboot!)

    Defeating a Pok?mon:
    [EM] Battle Engine Upgrade (On Halt, Will undergo reboot!)

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is fixable, but when a Pokémon levels up from experience gained from capturing a Pokémon, it won't trigger evolution

    Example:
    Capturing a Pokémon:
    [EM] Battle Engine Upgrade (On Halt, Will undergo reboot!)

    Defeating a Pokémon:
    [EM] Battle Engine Upgrade (On Halt, Will undergo reboot!)

    Yeah, it's a known bug. Haven't got around fixing it yet.

  • This is fixed by setting the condition to : #if ITEM_SWAP == true
    BTW , This is Fixed so , yeah no need for the edits. Just redownload if you encounter the same problem that i have.

    Is this correct? A lot of attacks don't show properly the effect they have, like scald:

    I installed Pokemon Expansion + Item Expansion + Battle Upgrade + Extra features the way KDS posted few pages ago and it works perfectly, this is the only problem.

    You have to replace the PGEAttackEffects.txt from PGE with the one found in the root folder of the Battle Engine Upgrade

    Using the KDS guide doesn't work when upgrading the engine, it freezes on battle.

    Eevolutions are handled in the Various Features repo.

    The guide doesn't mention how to reinstall things. Need to look into it.

    I don't know if it helps, but I tried reapplying the engine, to test if it fails or not.
    I noticed that if you disable learnsets the game crashes on battle, but if you apply the engine over an existing one but you activate the learnsets it doesn't crash.

    However, if I don't want to edit the learnesets for, let's say, the 7th Gen and I only activate it up to the 6th Gen, when the engine is reapplied the 7th Gen is left with no attacks so I need them to be put manually, which is not good since I made my own edits and I want to keep them.

    Also, now that we are into it. Abilities for the 7th Gen have the name broken.

    All the animations look really nice, but If I could give a couple of suggestions:

    Chatter's animation looks almost the same as Bug Buzz. Would be better to switch the background to the same as Aeroblast's, since both are Flying type moves.

    Seed Flare would look more accurate with a green background instead of a red one.

    EDIT: Looking at it a second time, Shadow Force would look more accurate if you used Shadow Ball/Night Shade background instead of Cosmic Power's. I think this could also apply to Dark Void's animation, though you could use Faint Attack's background since both are Dark type moves.

    Other than that they're all great. congratulations!

    Can someone make a video on how to install this? I'm getting an error whenever I try and the test.gba is just a copy of the normal rom.

  • Hi, I've tried to use this expansion without success. Error 193 from Python it's all I get. I'm using dev kit v45 and python 3.6. How can I fix that?
