The Monotype Challenge

Update 3. With a side of apology I am up for a promotion at work and have been working overtime and at home.

Worked Really hard and got a Kings Rock.
Tried to Trade and realized I have no way to trade so I sadly deposited Golly and decided I would use Politoed later.
Went all the way to Chuck Defeated him with Wog
SharpTooth Evolved Caught a Seel named it Flipper on the way to the Safari Zone.
Then beat Jasmine then caught a Goldeen named it Lucky
Defeated the Red Gyarados. Instantly regretted not catching it.
Defeated the endless amount of Team Rocket in Mahogany Town
Defeated Pryce and then Team Rocket in Goldenrod
Batting Team Rocket Goldeen and Seel Evolved.
Went to Blackthorn City and Saved it in front of the Gym

Update 5
-Got on the SS Anne, defeated all the trainers aboard the ship Found the little girl and landed in Vermilion city
-Did a little bit of training and defeated Surge.
-Continued my lack there of a better word Rampage through Kanto defeating Sabrina and then Erika.
-Went to the Power Plant then back to Cerulean and defeated the rocket guy got the part.
-Went back to the plant than ruined Misty's Date.
-Destroyed Misty my water types were better.
Went to Lavender Town and got the expand card
Woke up Snorlax
-Then fought and defeated Koga's daughter (I want to say her name was Jannine)
-Went to Pewter and beat Brock.
-Went to Cinnabar Island went to the gym but first I went downstairs in the cave and finally got a Water Stone.
-Evolved Wog Defeated Blaine.
-Then I spoke to Blue.
-Went to his Gym Dear god the floor tiles killed my life
(Now Believe it or not I did this in about 2 hours and by the end my Pokemon were all on level 55 I was in no position to fight red I literally got through the fights with pure luck.so I leveled up a bit)
-Took all the money my mum was saving and brought as many revives and Hyper Potions I could
-Went to Mount Silver used repels the whole way and fought Red.
With a mix of luck a few good Critical hits for me a few miss hits for him the hail and a lot of revives and a lot of Hyper Potions I finally defeated Red.

Quick Wrap up and Rating.
I'm not going to lie Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heart Gold and Soul Silver are my least favorite games. I have a few reasons for disliking them but I don't really want to go into it.



I have decided to rank the Pokemon with the first being the worst and the last being the MVP.


Lucky (Seaking)
It died like all the time, after a while I just stopped using it.

Feraligatr (SharpTooth)
Not a terrible Pokemon It just died a lot, didn't really get used an awful lot, and if I am honest Feraligatr is not one of my favorite starters


KrabSalad (Kingler)
Great attack stat with decent defense generally led into battle with this guy to test out the waters. Strong battler but could not take a special and was a bit Slow.


Flipper (Dewgong)
If you asked me after the elite four who was my front runner for MVP it would have been Flipper. Flipper was my gun and throughout the whole challenge was a fantastic Pokemon. Was a tough call between Flipper and Squishy for the 2nd Place.


Squishy (Tentacruel)
I honestly have no complaints about this guy Strong Pokemon who won me a lot of battles slightly edged out Flipper mainly due to Poison Jab Poisoning pretty much everything and it was Fantastic.

Wog (Poliwrath) (MVP) (I guess no one will be surprised)
I found it really difficult to find a water stone I was never playing the right days for the Pokeathon to reward me with a Water Stone I won the bug catching comp 4 times and nothing and Tully never called me. I wrestled with the idea of boxing Wog several times as honestly he was starting to become a liability. But once he evolved he became my number 1. I kind stuffed up his move set and he did not have any fighting moves and he was still fantastic obviously I would use him again.
