My team is as follows (I'm getting close to Kiawe's trial, and they are all around level 27):

  • Dartrix
  • Inkay
  • Lopunny
  • Pelipper
  • Vikavolt (I used my S&M games to trigger the location-based evolution)
  • Crabominable (same remark)

I actually didn't encounter a Pikipek either. (granted I didn't stay looking for very long but still...)

Another PC member helped me and I finally captured one lol. It turns out Pikipek (on Route 1) can only be found in the first 2 patches of grass.

They are everywhere on Route 1!!!

You should probably beef up your team a bit by leveling in the tall grass.

I'm going through route 4 right now, just after defeating Dexio. I got a Hawlucha on route 3 and was super lucky to get an adamant one.

It's still uncertain whether I'll keep Zorua on my team. I've decided I want to breed a Dhelmise and then catch an Elgyem on Ula Ula island to round off my team. If I see any other Pokemon besides them that I want (and it doesn't feel too late to add a team member) then Zorua will be getting the boot.

Fun fact: While looking up Brionne just now I noticed that Brionne is also the name of a region of Normandy in North France. Who said Pokemon isn't educational?

Noibat (Echo)

Honestly not sure what to use as there's so many cool pokemon like Dragalge, Ampharos, Metagross, Mimikyu and more!

This is why I typically do Nuzlockes, or more specifically Wonderlocks. Choosing my team has always been the most difficult part of Pokemon for me, and it's only gotten harder the more they've added.

Took me a while to find a Zorua, but finally encountered one. Currently my team is this.

Makahita Lv 12 or 13
Zorua Lv 11

Looking for a Sparrow to get Hawlucha now. Also, don't try to beat Ilima in the first town before the trial with just Rockruff and Litten.... it is a pain... Plan to drop Makahita and Crabrawler after Illima's Trial.

Ekans' Pokémon Refresh eating animation is amazing, FYI. Eats the bean in one bite and you see the lump go all the way down his throat/body.
