  • Oh boy, I really like to cook so this should be good. Here's a recipe of mine for a savoury tart.

    Ingredients
    1? cups plain flour
    A pinch of salt
    90g butter
    2? tablespoons if cold water

    Pre-mashed Potato
    Diced bacon
    Parsnip
    Sweet potato
    Carrot
    Spinach
    Celery
    Onion
    1 tablespoon of garlic

    Method
    1. Preheat oven to 180-200 celcius. (I don?t know silly American measurements)
    2. Sift flour into a bowl. Add salt.
    3. Rub in butter evenly until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
    4. Sprinkle water over mixture then stir until dough forms. Additional water may be needed.
    5. Knead dough on floured board. Then wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    6. Dice onion and add with bacon to oiled pan. Cook until starting to brown. Stir during.
    7. Add celery and complete cooking.
    8. Re-roll dough on floured board.
    9. Press dough in dish. Cut excess dough from the top so it?s level with the dish. Chill while preparing filling.
    10. Grate parsnip, sweet potato and carrot. Cut spinach.
    11. Mix mashed potato, bacon mix, grated vegetables and spinach together. Use to evenly fill pastry then bake until cooked

Edit: Added a pic for a reference

  • Booping this to brag about my food some more. Just a really simple thing.

    Garlic and Chilli Chicken Breasts
    Ingredients
    4 half chicken breasts
    1 tbsp cooking oil
    Chilli flakes
    Minced garlic
    Salt
    Pepper

    Method
    1. Preheat oven to about 180C (356F)
    2. Add salt and pepper to chicken
    3. Add oil to a frying pan and spread over base
    4. Add desired amount of chilli and garlic to pan and also spread around a bit (I used a lot o garlic in particular)
    5. Add breasts to pan and cook on stove (or with electric frying pan) for 2-4 minutes on each side.
    6. Put in oven for 20 or so minutes or until cooked through.
    7. Serve over a salad or something cause you're fancy. Garnish with orange slices for max fanciness.

    Spoiler:

Salad pictured here contains lettuce, kale (I'm sorry), radish, beans of some description, corn and thinly sliced beetroot and is covered in Italian dressing.

Serves 2-4 depending on how hungry you are.
