Oh yeah just one question about PTEI3.. if RMXP gets translated (or is released in english) is there any possibility you might move it to RMXP? Or are you just going to stick to RM2k3?

No one here is saying guns are cool (well... maybe I think so :P) they like the game. Do note that it isn't a mindless shooter. There is both a story and a very intense gameplay. There is also a deeper story line related reason to why the guns are used.
Since The humans (who have been depending on pok?mon for all they're lives) are being forced to fight for they're lives. Since it's clear that Pok?mon's strenght exceeds that of a normal human, the only thing the Humans can do is really on they're technology and skills to fight of the Pok?mon Treat. Guns are modern-days primary means of defence... and Pok?mon seems to take place in a modern-day-time/reallity.
It's only normal for the humans to fight with Guns...
Easier put... it's a theme of Modern Day Weapons and technology VS Pok?mon's Elemental/Physical and Psychological powers.

You also say, it's not creative... You probably have no Idea of the ackward and insane coding used in the game. Not only that... A Pok?mon "Fan"game (I really doubt PTEI quallifies as a "Fan"game.) where instead of Catching pok?mon and doing the same stuff as the GBC/GBA games is LESS orginal then Having to Hunt them doing and protect the people of the pok?mon world... (No offense to All Pok?mon fangame makers! I surely acknollegde the effort and work put into your games and In no way mean to say your games are mearly Copies of the GB games... sorry!)

First of all, most of us DO like the gun usage in the game, but there are reasons to back Colt's actions, so it's not a mindless shooting game, it's much more.

Secondly, don't say the game isn't creative, its filled with a lot of different gameplay types, and good storyline.

Thirdly, his game will not change because you think 'talking it out' is funner than shooting Pokemon. And you obviously you didn't play his PTEI2 demo, because at the end of it(I believe it was Ecruteak), many humans were dead too.

Finally, don't post here again with any information against this game, we have had enough problems already. If you aren't interested in the game the DON'T POST. It's not hard to stop yourself from posting.

Having just now beaten the demo, I have one thing to say to the creator...

ROCK ON!!!!

This game is AWESOME. Your use of CutScenes is AMAZING, as is the plot. All the varied mini games is assuring me that this game will NEVER get old, and the enemies are all decently challenging.

That scene when you enter Ecruteak city... Wow. Just Wow. The music there was amazing. I can't WAIT for the final product.

I'm a die hard fan, but killing Pikachu is always fun. This game is so impressively programmed, that there is no way I wouldn't like it. Out of 10, i give it 11.

If 97% thinks so I consider that a job well done. I want it to be a straight forward shooter with a simple storyline (gess I got carried away with the cutscenes and script...) The closest example from the real game world would be Halo. Halo has both a straight forward and also a very complex story line, people who played Halo know the straight forward storyline. But not many realize the enormous amount of Story behind the Basics of Halo... PTEI can be looked at like that aswell. For a Observent Fan of the series the Game has a pretty large and deep storyline, the average rm2ker who plays the game for fun will not notice the true deep storyline... Either way, It would provide good gameplay and fun to both types of rm2kers.

PTEI is good at one thingy... Gameplay, It's my goal to provide the coolest, most fun and most dynamic gameplay possible in rm2k. I would easally give up creativity for that.

You say that talking is a better option then using a machinegun... In human conflicts I gotta agree. But when your dealing with an Insane Pok?mon who's desire right now is to kill you... Wich would work more effecently?
Option 1:
-Open Fire with an M4A1 assault rifle and take the attacking pok?mon down-
Option 2:
-Try to reason with a Pok?mon who's only desire is to kill you-
I don't know the choice seems pretty obvious if your put into the shoes of the person who has to make that decision. You'd be lying if your saying you'd rather Talk then shoot at a moment like that.
In PTEI1 the humans keep running and hiding and aren't capable of hurting they're "friends". This is also the reason why the main characters o Pok?mon are a part of PTEI, they are looking for a way to stop the pok?mon with out using Colt's working solution... All characters Shout and Insult Colt because he's taking out all pok?mon, As the game progresses People start releasing if Colt didn't take out those pok?mon they would have been killed long ago. Ash and Misty stick to they're Ideals and pay the price for that...
They Fight the pok?mon because they have No choice.

Besides I really can't think of an ABS system where the Hero would have to try to sweet talk the pok?mon into being good again.

PTEI is going to be a Trilogy... there are going to be 3 in total.
altough I'll only make 3 PTEI games, I will not stop with rm2k(3/XP) after PTEI3. I have other projects in mind aswell.
