Anti-social is not wanting to talk to people because you don't feel like it or because you're afraid to?

Or are we talking being against the economic concept of socialism?

It's a result of me being autistic, I can't interact with a group well but surprisingly I seem to interact well with members here so I guess the problem only affects me irl.

I was anti-social, long before I joined PC, but I find out that I could talk well if I want to, months after I joined. Sometimes I'm wondering why the anti-social could talk socially surprisingly well like this.

Yeah I used to be anti social when I first joined PC as well. I would stay in my room all day only talking to people on the internet and not anyone irl. My parents helped me get over my anti-socialism though, because all in all, talking to people on the internet and talking to people irl is basically the same thing and it took me a while to realize that but now I understand it. People are people no matter what, after all.

I was very anti-social until I was in high school, my freshman year to be exact. It was also coincidentally the same year I joined PC, but since I wasn't online with anyone I knew in real life, I kinda had my depressing thoughts lingering around me and it caused a lot of people to get upset with me. ;_; but that's long gone though and I'm happy both online and away from the computer

My parents, however, are very anti-social people, which is probably why I had a struggle in middle and elementary school of being a very social person.

Apparently some of you don't know what anti-social really means...

I am very social online now, but irl I am not at all. I am very shy and just like to keep to myself although idk why :\

irl im pretty shy, but less when among friends, im pretty social here aswell

We're the same jelli. I am exactly like that.

I feel I am ready to be more open though irl. I assume it is because I am in college now and the environment is more sociable for me.

College environment is more tolerant than high school's in my opinion.

I will find out soon when college starts for me, but high-school was terrible for me

Speaking of college, I have to go back in 9 days ugh

I wonder what college will be like.

The freedom is the best part for me. I have to make a long drive though so that isn't fun.

It didn't work out well for me, I quit 6 months after joining a computer studies course because I had a very bad bully in my class. She giggled too much and I always assumed she was teasing me, making it hard to study. My run in the class lasted from February-July 2012 so I never got the chance to graduate.

Oh i have to travel a bit too to get to college, at least im able to use a train instead of going on foot @.@

For me it is about a 30 minute drive which requires me waking up much earlier that I would like.

I have no idea how early i have to wake up. Guess ill find out whenever i get to see my classes and so
