    Name: Nel Phelia

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

    Race: Faunus

    Appearance: Standing on the short side at a height of only 5'0", Nel hardly looks her age, and her youthful facial features hardly help her in regards to looking her age. She has a slim figure, with piercing emerald-green eyes that could easily rival the intensity of the actual gemstone. Although her hair is naturally a sandy blonde in color, Nel tends to keep it dyed a green color that essentially matches her eyes. Her skin complexion is light, but not pale as she does try to spend a decent amount of time in the outdoors whenever possible. One could say that she would almost pass for a normal teenage girl... if not for the hawk-like feathers that protrude from her shoulders and neck.

    In terms of clothing, Nel tries to place function over style. She tends to dress light, usually wearing things such as tank tops and combat boots. A pair of shorts are almost always adorning her legs, usually either worn in light tan or olive green colors. Over her tank top, Nel tends to wear a brownish-orange, light-weight jacket. Even though she herself would call it cliche, Nel always wears a pair of black, aviator-styled goggles in her hair.

    Personality: An abundant, ball of energy that never seems to run out of steam. This is probably the best way to describe Nel. Despite the oppression she faces as Faunus, Nel is very rarely seen without a spring in her step or a smile on her face. She tends to always think on the positive side and at glance looks as though she takes very little seriously. It also does not help that Nel absolutely adores puns. She's quick to make one at almost any given moment, and if she annoys someone with them... well, she chalks it up as being even better than she originally thought it was going to be.

    Nel is one who likes to act first and then think about it later on. This is carried over into battle for the girl, as she tends to put force and brawn over logic and brain in almost any situation. She honestly feels as those who take the time to form a strategy are boring, and being unpredictable and charging ahead are much better methods of surprise and solutions to solving a problem that comes her way.

    Weapon: Nel likes to fight with something she has essentially dubbed the razor rings. In retrospect, they are merely two, hand-held chakrams that she is able to fight with in both close and long-range combat. They are shaped like actual rings, crafted in sharpened steel that allow her to fight at close-range by swinging them, as if the rings were knives or swords. When fighting with them in long-range situations, Nel is able to toss them as if they were like boomerangs, even to the point where they return to her when thrown. Of course, catching a pure blade would be both ridiculous and quite difficult, so each blade as a small section that is simply wrapped in durable leather, acting as a handle of sorts.

    Semblance: Gale Force, as Nel likes to call it, is basically the power of wind. Using her weapons as sort of a focusing medium, she is able to create bursts of wind to aid her in various forms of combat. For example, she can create sharp, cutting blades of wind to attack her opponents if she is in a situation where her weapons simply are not aiding her in physical combat or use them to blow her foes back and away from her to create extra distance. She can also use the power to assist her in moving forward through the air, usually in just quick boosts forward or propelling her jumps higher into the air.

  • Here's the secondary character for Team JSMN = Jasmine!

    Mira Cullous

    Age: 17
    Race: Owl Faunus
    Appearance:

    Mira stands at a short height of 5'1, and sports wavy brownish-red hair which reaches down to her middle back, coupled with a pair of sandy-orange eyes. She is neither muscular or skinny, having an average build for a girl of her age. Mira's major faunus trait, which separates her from humans, is the fact that she possesses a large collar of fluff-like feathers all around her neck, akin to an owl's. Her voice is also higher-pitched than normal, thought this is barely noticeable. In terms of clothing, she wears a leather brown vest over a white shirt, coupled with a pair of black pants and brown boots. She also wears a pair of brown gloves, as well as a small oval pendant with the symbol of an owl on it; and a pair of rimless glasses which transform into aviator goggles at the flick of a switch.

    Semblance:
    Vector Control
    Mira's semblance is quite simple really. Using her mind, she has the ability to trace a straight path for any object, determining its height and position. Upon activation, the object will fly in that direction, for the speed and duration that Mira has chosen. For example, if she chooses a rock to fly 20 feet forwards over a duration of 3 seconds, the rock will shoot forwards and do what she instructed. Objects affected by vectors can only travel in a straight line, and require multiple vectors to change direction (something she has not learned to do yet). She uses this power to levitate, control and speed up her spear.

    Weapon: Mira's weapon, which has many times been called a "witch's broom", looks just like one. It is essentially a dust-infused two-tipped spear with 3 major modifications; one being an added shotgun when the spearhead is drawn back, the second being its ability to split into a sword and sheath, and the third being the spearhead's ability to morph into a detachable shield. When not in use as a weapon, Mira is often seen riding on it, using her semblance to make it hover over the ground and increase its speed. The broom does not quite give her the ability to fly, being quite heavy when she is sitting on it, but can be used to glide forward.

    Semblance: Force-Field Generation
    Orion's semblance has taken the shape of the ability to create shields, walls or fields to protect not only himself, but others. His fields often take the shape of translucent energy barriers, usually visible to the naked eye, but given more talent Orion could feasibly make them transparent. The force-fields are not impenetrable and can usually be destroyed by an energy drain, extreme weight or potent force. The strength of a force field is directly proportional to the amount of energy or will Orion transmits into it. A weak force field requires little energy, but is easily dispatched. A strong one will drain his stamina, but will be far harder to destroy.

    At the time, given Orion's limited experience, the semblance is purely defensive in nature, only capable of generating fields to protect himself and others from attacks, or generate barriers for spacing. Given training, Orion could generate force armor for himself and allies, create force fields in difficult terrains for environmental protection (force field underwater for air), create platforms to traverse difficult terrain. With even more training, Orion could bind opponents with force fields or generate constructs to amplify his offensive capabilities.

    Weapon: The Peacekeeper

    Orion's trusty weapon is dubbed the Peacekeeper, a technological masterpiece, constructed by his father and gifted to Orion as he left to join Beacon. On the surface, the Peacekeeper is a large, ornate hammer. Hefty in weight, what the Peacekeeper lacks in finesse, it more than makes up for in sheer power. Only due to his powerful frame, Orion is capable of fighting rather skillfully all things considered. Underneath, however, is the Peacekeeper's secret. The hammer is capable of transforming with a flick of a switch into a high caliber sniper rifle, with a 8x ACOG scope allowing for some flexibility in combat. However, when in this from Orion tends to favor standing back and firing some safety, picking off enemies from a distance. The transformation takes a few seconds, allowing Orion to easily flip back into the heart of the fray when necessary.

    Wormholes is a fancy summarizing name for what Azreal does. It started when he got really flustered and paranoid once and just wanted to be anywhere but where he currently was.... And suddenly, it became true. With a flash of bright blue light and black smoke, Azreal found himself on the other side of the city. It took a while until he could learn to "teleport" by his own will, but that's the most basic form of his semblance: teleportation. At least that's what we call it for the time being.

    Sometimes, he loses things even though he is sure of where he put them. Some items were lost forever, while others turn up in the strangest of places. The only reasonable explanation must be that he has accidentally teleported the items, and not just himself. And that is, of course, right on spot. When he becomes more attuned to his semblance and learns to understand its true nature better, he will be able to formulate spells to teleport far, several times in succession, bring others with him, teleport items or other people without going himself, and even summon other items or people - initially by knowing exactly where they are or talking to them, later by sensing them through the distortions he is connected to. Maybe. Eventually. Possibly.

    He doesn't simply teleport. He passes through another dimension, or other world, very very briefly, when he changes places in our world. That world is much smaller than ours, and as such he needs to physically travel a MUCH shorter distance there before he distorts space back and returns to our world. In the blink of an eye, literally. The black smoke that is hard to hide when he uses his distortion abilities, probably comes from the atmosphere in that other dimension. The blue plasma he uses in his guns though, is his Aura channeled and manifestated as raw power. His eyes also glow brighter when he's been teleporting himself, and interestingly this can lead to headaches when he's been fighting hard or for very long. Because normally in battle, he teleports around the battlefield to surprise his enemies and avoid taking damage. As long as he doesn't overdo it, that annoying headache behind his eyes won't be overwhelming.

    Weapon: Gundaggers. Yes. Two Dust powered handguns fitted with daggers, so they are just as good for stabbing as for shooting black-smoking cyan energy bullets with.

    Name: Luna Niemandsluft
    Age: 19
    Race: Shark faunus

    Appearance: Christiana is just your average teenage/soon-to-be adult girl. She wears muscles tees and tights even when teachers and peers ask or tell her to wear a more regulated uniform. Her eyes are white with only scar shaped pupils. She has several sets of teeth each of which are sharpened to a point. She has an upturned nose with two large nostrils and one set of ears. A set of gills are present on her neck, but only become visible when she becomes wet which allows her to breath both above as well as below water.

    Personality: Thinks she's the ****. Musclehead. Not the most intelligent, but proficient in a fight. Gets tired easily but for how long she lasts she really packs a punch. Forces her 'friendship' on others in the form of bullying. Actually a really awkward sweet girl. Would never let anything happen to her friends. Hates weak people.
    Semblance: Damage redistribution

    At a beginners level she can take damage up to around the point of which a limb might become disabled and move it onto the opponent dealing the damage to her. After she hits that threshold however then all of the damage done afterwards actually comes onto her.

    Weapon: Sharkbite

    Sharkbite is a spiked chain whip that Christiana normally keeps wrapped around her arms. The whip is around 40 feet long in total, but normally trails across her back and is wrapped around both of her forearms. The remainder of its length is either double wrapped around her arms or left to trail behind her wherever she goes. During battle she'll usually begin with it wrapped around her fists, creating makeshift gauntlets with the weapon and then rush the opponent. Once they get out of range though she'll let them drop and then catch them from behind.

    Race: Polar Bear Faunus

    Personality: Friendly, calm and easygoing on the outside, but serious, diligent and brooding under the surface. Doesn't think too highly of himself, cares about his teammates to the point of rushing to their aid if necessary, but confident enough to not be reckless without reason. Can go berserk when enraged during battle, to the point of attacking friends if they piss him off badly enough.

    Semblance: Frost Fists
    Nord has the ability to manipulate ice. This Semblance is amplified through his knuckles, to which he affectionately refers as his Frost Fists. Currently, this semblance cannot be used for much more than giving his punches and claws a frosty edge, making it possible to instantly afflict its target with severe frostbite. As his strength grows, he'll be able to freeze increasingly larger parts of his opponents or surroundings upon touch, and even be able to use the environment to his advantage this way.

    Personality: Having grown up in a rich family, Selena used to perfection, and she demands it in everything. Despite having the resources to live a leisurely lifestyle, Selena is very much self taught in the values of earning things through hard work. Having had 2 younger siblings, she has naturally adopted a very mothering personality; she is always caring for, helping and going out of her way to do what she sees as best for those around her. She can come across as bossy and controlling as a result.

    Weapon: On it's own,?toile filante(Shooting Star) is simply a bow and arrow. However, when Selena infuses it with dust, the arrows become light inspired, passing through objects instead of piercing. The biggest changes to how the weapon works is that it is now capable of passing through transparent object, reflecting off of reflective surfaces and multiplying through refraction.

    Semblance: Selena's semblance is the embodiment of burning desire for beauty. Using dirt, rocks other lesser metals as a base, Selena can transmute them into tougher and more valuable rocks such as Diamond and Crystal. In the early stages of her semblance, she is only able to make brittle and simply shaped gems, but as she develops her ability, she will be able to form more study and complex structures for her materials.

    Personality: Quite: She usually keeps her opinions to herself and rarely says anything that she doesn't have to.
    Shy: she avoids interacting with others out of the fear that she may say or do something wrong.
    Pessimistic: she usually looks at the negatives of everything and is commonly depressed.
    Kindhearted: she always wants to help others and improve their life, or cheer them up in any way she can. Protective: she will always defend anyone she can, in any way she can.
    Sensitive: It's easy to hurt her, even without trying to, but she can also sympathize with others easily.
    Relies on others: Because of her low self esteem and self confidence she relies on others to accomplish anything.
    Friendly: Because of her kind nature she is rather likable and easy to get along with.

    Appearance: Alice is very soft, and delicate appearance. She has very pale skin, and black hair that goes down to about her chin and blue eyes. She's rather petite, at about 5'5 and is very thin. Most commonly she wears a dark blue jacket over a solid black skirt. She wears black tights and dark blue skirt. She also usually has a dark blue scarf and black shoes.

    Semblance: Alice is able to stick to any and all objects. At low levels she is able to carry her own weight, but at higher levels several hundred pounds could be carried. Additionally she could pass through thinner solid objects at higher levels, or enter them.

    Weapon: Alice uses a number of small dust infused Shurikens for her weapon. (Having a total of 10) These Shurikens will also return to her when thrown, eliminating the need for them to be retrieved and allowing her to carry a limited supply.

    The Unmovable



    Name: Niklas Brudheim

    Age: 19

    Gender: Male

    Race: Human

    Personality: Niklas is a very stubborn man. Once he decides on something, he is not likely to give up on it. This is especially true for fights. Once Niklas decides he will fight you, you?re in for it, and you don?t get a chance to give up. Every move that Niklas makes, every swing he is going to take, will finish, no matter the situation. This makes Niklas a very scary enemy in battle, as he will not stop easily in battle. He does, however, have a strong code of honor. In a fight, he expects both parties to fight fair, and not use techniques he considers lowly, such as traps. Because he applies this code of honor to his enemies too, he does not take kindly on those who run from battle.

    This strong feeling of honor doesn?t extend into his everyday life. It?s fairly confined to the skirts of the battle field. Niklas lacks a strong moral compass, and tries not to be bothered with a lot of grander issues. He?s very self-centered, and does not realize, or maybe even care, to the consequences of his actions. He will battle those he deems strong to prove and improve himself, no matter if they?re friend or foe. In grander conflicts he chooses the side he thinks is weakest, not out of the goodness of his heart, but out of the urge to battle the strong.
    Niklas doesn?t go out of the way of violence at all. He loves it, and if there is violence about to happen, he might endorse it, and is most likely to join in. If there?s one thing he can?t stand, it?s a pacifist. Even with this in mind, Niklas doesn?t like lethality. If he thinks he has won the battle, he?ll stop the fight, and help is enemy to get up and allow them to tend their wounds. Grimms and animals are exceptions to this, as he sees it as the natural order for humans and faunus to kill those.

    Niklas does not only hate all pacifists, he dislikes those he thinks are cowards. People that fight indirectly, he doesn?t like. Everything from the use of minions, to scare tactics, he dislikes intensely, and he considers those who use it lower than him.

    Appearance:

    Niklas is commonly described as really ****ing big. Standing at 2 meters, or 6?5?, combined with very muscular makes him a very imposing figure. He has a very wide upper body with pillars as arms, and big hands. He?s leaner than he?s wide, but still, damn the guy is big.
    His eyes are brown, and so is his shoulder long hair. His hair looks somewhat greasy, and is divided in clear different strains. He also has a good amount of stubble, and it?s clear that is trying to grow a beard, but hasn?t yet.

    Semblance:

    The Unmovable

    Niklas semblance is called the Unmovable in his family. Many of the men in his lineage have the semblance. The semblance itself is fairly straightforward, but, hey, the Brudheim are fighters, not thinkers.

    The Unmovable allows the user to move in any way they want, without any outer interference. Any knockback, or exterior force is neutralized as soon as it touches the user. The force will still be delivered, and the subject will feel the pain, but the moving forces are absorbed by the semblance. A truck could hit an Unmovable, and they wouldn?t move an inch.

    The strongest Unmovable users can make themselves completely immune to any damage for a certain period of time. Depending on the strength of the user it might be anywhere from seconds to minutes. When this facet of the Unmovable is active, all forms of damage are completely neutralized. Blades won?t pierce skin, maces will be stopped in their tracks, and bullets will just fall to the ground.

    Weapon:
    Morningstar!

    Niklas?s weapon of choice is Morningstar!, a mace, specifically a Morningstar. It consists of thick handgrip, a steel connecting rod, and a sharp metal ball at the end. The ball has sharp protrusions, which Niklas can disconnect from his mace, and launch by swinging it. They stick to all surfaces, and can be detonated on command to produce a big explosion.

These NPCs should be made such that should your character die, you would be happy to pick up with one of the NPCs as your character, to keep you in the RP. So anyway. Hop to it!
