    I also already started, so here's update #1:

    Long story short, things have been rough so far. Trainers like Mars and Roark gave me lots of trouble, and I have already lost seven Pokemon in battle (Starly, Geodude, Wurmple, Ponyta, Zubat, Meditite, and Gastly.) I was especially sad to lose Doc (the Meditite). The good news is that I have arrived in Hearthome and still have a pretty solid team. Here they are:

    And I already started...
    - Started as female character named Deni and picked up Fennekin, nicknamed her Anet
    - Easily beat Shauna and her Chespin
    - Bought few Pokeballs and caught Pidgey on Route 2, nicknamed him Onda
    - Watched tutorial on How to catch Pokemon... really? :D
    - Won my first Pokemon battle
    - in Santalune Forest caught Scatterbug, nicknamed him Dan
    - Thanks to free heals, I could grind a little
    - On Route 3 I caught Bidoof, nicknamed him Matla (Probably will be boxed soon)
    - Realized that I don't have any Potions... and team is in pretty bad shape
    - Finally made it to Santalune City
    - Shopping time
    - New Route 22 and new encounter... Dunsparce
    - Dan evolved
