Favorite Trainer: #1 - Kanto Gym Leader

I was surprised to see Blue in the poll. I thought he would be counted for gen 2 onward even though he is a gym leader in Kanto. Since he is here however I will give him my vote. It was not an easy choice, Iove Sabrina for her sheer power, but I will give it to Blue for his versatility. As the first multi-type gym leader he's got a strong, diverse team but moreover he fights in a more competitive way, phasing you out if you try to set up on him, has trick room users. He's the best strategist or at least I think so. While not special as a champion beyond his young age and rivalry with you-- gym leader is another story. I think he is really good in that capacity.

Giving it to Blaine for being such a kook at times. Really liked his gym too.

My favorites are Erika and Sabrina. I like Erika for being such a peaceful person, the fact she wears kimonos, and her use of grass types. As for Sabrina I think she goes without much reasoning. Her anime episode alone is one of my all time favorites.

I vote Erika. She is pretty and sweet, calm and collected and is a daydreamer, all aspects that I find really appealing in girls. Her design is really nice as well.

My favorite Gym Leader is Lt. Surge. It took me a while to figure out his Gym puzzle.

Voted for Giovanni. The only evil team leader to also be a gym leader.

I voted for Erika. She uses one of my favourite Pokemon in Vileplume and her gym is even modelled after a Gloom in the anime.

Sabrina runs her pretty close and I love her Gen 4 redesign but Erika gets my vote here.

My favorite Kanto Gym Leader is Giovanni.

Misty, I had a major thing for her when I was a kid. :P

Misty is bae. Partly for the anime, partly for nostalgia - her theme deck was my first TCG deck! - and partly because she has a Starmie and water types in general are cool too.

I like Misty, she is cute.

Blue, for having the most screen time. Giovanni is a close 2nd, he feels like a real life mob boss.

Sabrina always seemed like one of the more intimidating and powerful gym leaders in Kanto, so I voted for her.

I've always appreciated Giovanni. He's the only gym leader that has real character development in the game.
