Petition to make Ditto PC's mascot 'mon

WALL OF TEXT LAUNCHED!
Okay, so, ditto, the all-in-one mon, with their capacity of
turning into anything they see, could represent adaptability.
Might also relate to some sociologists' thesis of people discovering
themselves by relating to other individuals, and thus we miror other
people's characteristics. Could embody some fan-devs' and rom hackers' will
to feel closer to the true-devs.
Sure, nice, but honestly I think a few other pokémon could better represent the forums.

Let's see... apparently, Pokécommunity is one of the main hubs for fan-made projects,
rom hacking and fan-development are quite prominent, but of course there's also
fan-fiction writing, users with youtube channels, maybe some people toying with soundfonts,
arranging music or even composing it, we have spriting, digital painting, manual drawings,
animation, even sand sculptures, and who more has more may put!
And thus, I'd like to mention Smeargle, Arceus, Unown and Klink's line.

Smeargle seem to express themselves by painting onto surfaces with the fluid from their
tail, and one smeargle in particular would provide us with a few flag designs for our
Rescue Team base in PMD:R&B RTs. Now, expression and customization...
I believe our will to shape our surroundings and our preferences could tell something about our inner selves.
"Artistry" is also used in different ways, and our beloved franchise is no exception :
it can tell stories, amuse, toy with our feelings, but also communicate messages, make us think, or even give life lessons.
Aside from all of that, this ode to existence is truly soothing.

Arceus would also relate to the will of shaping our surroundings (again, all the people making their own pokémon games).
Somebody once wrote a comment regarding how the tune played by the celestial flute is
also heard(albeit played by strings) while the GameFreak logo fades in on Diamond, Pearl & Platinum, and somebody else replied
that GameFreak are Arceus...
I think we could all relate, because human beings often enjoy to play God, we all might have imagined a small world of our own,
and might have dreamed about the making or changing of something (example: a videogame of our very own).

Okay, let us slide to the Unown.
Often disliked because not too handy in the games and of a relatively simple design,
Unown are literally letters... in the games they won't do much, but in the 3rd movie,
many of them together alter reality. Oh, and also, the HGSS Arceus event, with the Unown
making an egg with Dialga, Palkia or Giratina appear before our screens).
Possible relation to the Universe development team aside, letters alone are merely letters,
but together they form THIS. Incredible how something so simple and unlooked can be poetic!
Oh, and the letters forming words could allude to social cohesion, and strenght through unity and numbers.

Now, concluding with Klink, Klank and Klinklang, those pokémon are
floating gears that most likely come from the concept of perpetual motion.
The way gears are linked together and keep making one an other spin can be linked to social cohesion(again),
the mutual contribution expected in society and, possibly, unity(the pokémon are formed by fairly distinct parts
that keep each other energized). Being gears, they can also represent technology and the strive for progress(rom
hackers and fan-devs tend to try having as many things complimenting their projects as possible, or make
resources and scripts for public use. Gosh, I've even seen an "in the sky" mechanic on Ruby! (Pokémon Ruby's rom, not to be foncused with .ruby, the coding found in Essentials projects).
Oh, "perpetual" motion... as a matter of fact, silly divisions or subsidiaries will never get rid of fan-made projects ;3.

Still, there's an alternative to just choosing one or more mascots : having randomly-picked monthly or weekly pokémon! That would be a win-win, right?
