    Angels have but one purpose: to maintain guardianship over the Human assigned to them. If the Human lives a full life, safe from evil, the Angel who guarded over him or her will ascend to the Heavens alongside the Human, and both are promised a wonderful afterlife. However, should an Angel fail, both the Angel and the Human will fall into darkness for all eternity. The Divine Creator has given Angels a specific list of rules, and if they disobey, punishment will be severe.

    1. You musn't ever leave your Human unguarded. Your Human's protection is your duty alone, and cannot be transferred to any other. Keep your Human in sight at all times.
    2. You must protect your Human at any cost. Selfish thoughts must never cross your mind. Your very life is owed to your Human, and you must risk it if needed to protect your Human.
    3. Fighting off Demons and Dark Entities is only your secondary task; Human safety is top priority. If you are unable to maintain both, you may render your Human unconscious and flee with the Human to a safe location before waking the Human.
    4. Your presence must never be discovered. You may interact with the Human World and its objects only in an EXTREME EMERGENCY.
    5. If your Human dies of causes that are not in your power, such as sickness, you will be assigned a new Human. However, if something could have been done but you have neglected to do it, you will suffer Eternal Darkness while your Human will enjoy a Heavenly afterlife.
    6. Any relation with a Human is absolutely damning to both you and your Human, and both will earn Eternal Darkness.
    7. No Human may ascend the Heavens, and the Angel who attempts to bring one will earn Eternal Damnation.

    The Story
    A world of modern technology, first world problems, and easygoing lifestyles most fitting for Humanity. However, there is a world parallel to this one, if you think of it in that sense. Angels, guardians of Humanity. They are merely legend among Human knowledge, but they do exist. However, it seems like less and less of them are around these days. More and more Humans live without guardianship, and the Angels who still remain are left to wonder. While the Humans go about today like any other day, the Angels feel a disturbance. Something about this day is sending their senses into a frenzy. Is it a bad omen? Only time will tell.


    Who Am I?
    You are either a clueless Human, going about your daily life and handling your problems as any person would, or an Angel, working in secret to keep your Human safe from harm. Either way, you live somewhere in Seattle, Washington. Humans, your background story is entirely up to you, as long as you end up in Seattle (well, and you don't include something unrealistic). Angels, your History is following around your Human, so read through their History and add in what you experienced while guarding the Human, aware that you see the things your Human doesn't.


    The Rules
    1. Always, always follow PC's basic RPing rules.
    2. No bunnying, godmodding, powerplaying, or anything of the sort, unless you have permission beforehand.
    3. Don't post /too/ quickly; give others who your characters are around a chance to react to your post before you go ahead with another. Fair's fair, right?
    4. Don't fall inactive! Every pair here relies on its two players! If one goes AWOL, what is the other to do?
    5. Be respectful and have fun! If you don't, Supervegeta will damn you himself!
    6. Follow rules and be fair! If you don't, Skymin will smite you herself!
    7. Password for Angels is "Watch"; Password for Humans is "Listen".

    Sign-Up
    Since this is a somewhat unusual way to do things, I'll break down what you need to do, in order:

    1. Ask a fellow Roleplayer to pair up with you for this RP!
    2. Once you've paired, decide which of you will make the Human, and which will make the Angel.
    3. Once you've paired and decided, reserve yourself and your paired player in this thread!
    4. Once your pair is reserved, the Human will create the first Sign-Up.
    5. Once the Human sign-up is accepted, the Angel can then create his/her sign-up.
    6. (This is so the Angel knows everything about the Human and can more easily complete the Sign-Up.)
    7. Once both sign-ups are accepted, your pair is ready to play!

    Occupation: Highschool Student, Sign language tutor
    Hobbies: He wanders around his town, doing good things and community service when he isn't practicing. He is able to play the piano, guitar, and violin, playing the piano and guitar like a prodigy.
    Disorders: Mute
    Quirks: Other than his inability to talk, he lacks any quirks.
    Likes: Since he lacks the ability speak, music is his audible expression. He enjoys any type of music, and loves to write his own.
    Dislikes: He dislikes people who down any type of music, and he dislikes people who mistreat others. He also hates when people are egotistical or elitist
    Dreams: He wishes he could speak, though he has accepted the fact that he would not be able to. He hopes that he is a good enough musician to make a living.
    Fears: He fears being in a situation where lacking a voice could kill him, and he fears never having a future.

    Appearance: He is 5"6 with black hair. He has caramel skin (natural, he is mixed) and brown eyes. His face is gentle, and trustworthy, when you speak to him, you know he is probably listening. He wears any t-shirt, not caring about looks, though he always wears jeans. He is average sized with average strength. (Though he does believe in personal fitness, so he is average strength for a active and healthy person)

    Personality: He lacks the ability to speak, which hinders his ability to socialize. He never feels lonely though, because without a social life he is able to focus on a wide range of things, like music, community service and personal fitness. He pushes himself hard, because he believes he is at a disadvantage in life. He is a kind person, though sometimes he can have a day or two of depression. During those times, he can't talk to anyone and even may have suicidal thoughts. It always passes, and the thoughts stay thoughts, not ideas.

    He did come to one conclusion: If he were ever to commit suicide, it would be saving another's life. He never wants to just kill himself.

    History: Tacent had always lived in Washington, and he lived a comfortable lifestyle. His mother was a heart surgeon, and his father was a university teacher. Because they were both respected in their occupations, and held high positions, they both were paid well. Tac had plenty of income to play with, and due to the amount of time his parents spent at work, he was pretty free throughout the day.

    Likes: Roxanne loves shopping with friends, texting, singing, facebook, music, all the typical teenage stuff.
    Dislikes: Food, she's a weight freak. Rock music, bugs and little insects, being bored.
    Dreams: Her dream is/and had always been to be a successful singer.
    Fears: That she won't succeed in her dreams.

    Appearance: Roxanne is a normal sized girl for her age, a bit skinny though. Since she's a little bit of a wight frak, ya know. Roxanne has a slightly tanned skin tone, like a creamy shade of mocha. Her eyes really stand out, and are like a Athemyst sort of color, which is topped with a little bit of ocean blue. Her eyebrows are shaped smoothly in a Semi Circle, but they are thick not thin, and mostly a little lighter than a Coffee Bean. Her straight, flowing, hair hair goes all the way down to below her belly button. She likes to keep her blonde hair to one side of her neck, but let's some of the hair stay on the other side.

    Time by time she likes to wear her pink Beanie on her head. Roxanne's sense of fashion isn't that different from most girls. A casual pair of Skinny Jeans is usually what she wears. Roxanne isn't a fan of Feminine clothes, such as Skirt's or dresses but does like Flowers and such. For the top part of her body she wears a plain, darkish blue, strap top. It has a little bit of sequins making a floral pattern at the right side of the top, but most of them fell off now. She also has a thin, Button up, Grey Caridgen. The Buttons on it are red little Flowers, and it's covered in little Leaf and Flower patterns.

    As for her feet, she has a pair of White Trainers, with green striped on one side, and blue stripes on the other. The lace is also a normal white color, but the Aglet is a sort of Violet color.

    Personality: Roxanne is the kind of girl who would get distracted easily. Usually when she listens to someone speak, her mind floats in the air. She also isn't the type who likes to get rushed and take orders from other people. Roxanne is a pretty hyper girl, she always wants to see what's up with other people, and run around. Yet she can be quiet sometimes, like when she's tired or texting. It's mostly in the afternoon that she's hyper, like at school. Roxanne also a generous and sweet girl, but don't get on her bad side or you'l regret it.

    History: In Roxanne's early life she lives in Seattle with both of her parents. Being a only child, Roxanne got allot of gift's and got spoiled allot. For example, at the age of 11 she already had gotten a phone. Zooming back 5 years, at 6 years old Roxanne had joined school. She got lots of friends, so it was mostly a totally normal life. But then things started to change, at the age of 10 Roxanne could hear her parents swearing at each other and shouting. She thought they were gonna get a divorce, and then she would never see one of them again. And then it came, at 14 years old Roxanne's parents had a divorce and she stayed with her Mother here in Seattle.

    This was a very hard time for Roxanne because, well her parents divorced. Only a year after that Roxanne's mother had a car accident, she didn't die but was badly injured on her legs. While her Mother was in the hospital Roxanne was taken care of by a babysitter, who wasn't the most active either.

    Now, at the age of 16 (almost 17) Roxanne goes to highschool, having a casual life with her now healed mother.

    Hobbies: Drawing, Fighting, Sleeping and going on walks.
    Disorders: Narcolepsy, which is a disorder in which the victim can fall into a state of deep sleep at any moment. He also has a weak spot on his back and if it is irritated he will fall unconscious.
    Quirks: Loves fighting although he retains an injury from it.
    Likes: Competitive fights
    Dislikes: Authority figures, adults, babies, and being judged.
    Dreams: Becoming remarkably strong, moving home, making more friends, and to have an interesting life.
    Fears: Dying, Staying in Seattle, things that smell bad, Ghosts

    Appearance:
    Kyle has red eyes and has a slightly tanned skin color. He has a slim build and stands at 5'12" tall. At first glance it would appear that he has no scars although a closer look would reveal the trace of various battle scars and the most significant one is in the center of his back following his spine. His hair is silky, black and gelled back although he has a few bangs. Although he fights a lot he isn't prevalently muscular.

    His wardrobe varies but usually he wears either a green jacket with a white shirt along with green slacks or a plain black t-shirt with jeans. He usually wears sneakers and never wears anything over his hair.


    Personality: Kyle is a very competitive person and is very hotheaded. He usually is quick to act and doesn't think twice before helping others although usually it's by aggression and violence. He is very ignorant of most things and isn't very perceptive about them unless it is explicitly stated.


    He isn't very fond of soft-spoken people and usually doesn't take initiative of things that appear to him as insignificant. He hates authorities figures and is very rebellious to the point of skipping school. He is easily bored with what most people called an everyday life and he seeks something to give each day a sense of excitement.

    He is smart although since he doesn't apply any effort in school, he has low grades. He is quick to hold a grudge like the one he has with his mother because they moved, leaving Chicago where Kyle was born and raise the first decade of his life and also from a car crash that gave his a scar on his back…

    He has a strong pride although it's not accompanied with cockiness and if he is offered help he will usually decline it unless necessary. He is very outspoken and isn't ever afraid to give criticism although he dislikes receiving it.

    History: Kyle used to live in Chicago but eventually his mother chose to move because she was originally from Seattle and felt the need to return home after losing her job at a law firm. His father divorced his mom although she has always told Kyle that his dad had a job as a security guard and a thief killed him on the job when Kyle was a baby. Ever since he has been relocated to Seattle, he feels a lack of self-fulfillment and dislikes the area because he knows no one there and he has a hard time with the people there. Although he had no problems with the people in Chicago he hasn't ever truly made a companion and was closest to his mo, before they moved. For 5 years since Kyle has lived a somewhat sound life in Seattle although he hasn't managed to make any friends, he is on bad ends with his mother for moving, and he feels no comfort or connection with other people.

    Not much of importance has happened to Kyle in Chicago except for the gaining of his narcolepsy, which was spontaneous, along with the scar on his back that he got from a car crash with his mom.

    Melody has long red hair and usually wears a small sidetail with the rest of her hair hanging behind her. That sidetail usually is attached with a purple ribbon while the rest of her outfit is black and yellow. Though, the purple ribbon matches the purple part of the blouse she's wearing, The upper part is white, the under part is the same purple as her ribbon. She wears a yellow jacket that looks like it's from the 18th century, her sleeves are only partly attached to it. She wears a short black skirt which she keeps on it's place with a thin belt.

    She also wears some black knee socks and black gloves with on her right hand the same purple ribbon as on her head. Her shoes are yellow sneakers.

    Her skin is soft and a little japanese-like but still has a brownish-tint. Her eyes are eyes you don't see often since they're brown but look more like red, but a close look will show you that they're indeed brown. Her wings are white a pretty big for her length but they often protect Melody from any harm on her body, harm on her wings is another story... Melody can be described as a beautiful young woman with a tense personality.

    Melody is a fiercy young lady with a caring hard, in Anime terms she would be called a Tsundere. Fiercy and violent on the outside, but sweet and caring on the inside. Melody likes singing and when she sees Roxanne can't sleep she sings for her even though Roxanne isn't able to hear it, but it always seems like it works. Melody's voice is pretty soft and likeable to other Angels ears, too bad Melody is too shy about it and doesn't sing often when in company. Melody is very caring towards Roxanne and does anything to keep her save and prevent her from getting harmed. She is nice towards friends but that doesn't stop her from pulling pranks on them.

    When Melody sees two humans holding hands it already makes her feel a little bit lonely, since she doesn't believe Angels can fall in love. Angels have to keep their attention to their jobs as Guardians and that's why she doesn't allow herself to fall in love with a male Angel. Melody sometimes really wishes that humans would be able to see their her and her fellow Angels since she really feels lonely a lot. When Roxanne stays home to chat or to game Melody just stands or sits there, hoping a friend of Roxanne will come over so she can talk to the Angel of that friend.

    Melody was assigned to Roxanne after her former human died and she couldn't do nothing about it. It has been like that around 7 or 8 times and is about 300 hundred years old now. It kinda thicks her off she has bad luck and that's why she does everything to keep Roxanne alive. Along the years Melody developed a small like towards Roxanne as a Human friend, something she hadn't felt for the other humans she was trying to protect. Roxanne is kind and a happy-go-lucky girl in contradistinction of the other humans she protected.

    When Roxanne turned 13, Melody no longer just saw her as one of these selfish humans but also as a friend she had to protect at any cost. Roxanne's parents got divorced when she was only 14 and stayed with her mother, Melody tried to do as much as she could to cheer up Roxanne without having to touch objects in the human world. At some point Melody had to prevent Roxanne from getting in the car with her mom after she knew something bad was going to happen, a few hours later Roxanne got a call saying that her mother got into a car incident but was still alive. Melody was very relieved at that point, not only did she save Roxanne, if they both had gotten into that car they both would've died.

    Her mother has recovered by now and Roxanne hasn't been an aim for a demon once in her whole human life. But Melody is feeling a little restless, a little disturbed... like something really bad is going to happen anytime soon.

    I've highlighted all of the parts that need to be altered, for the following reasons:
    1. Angels were not Human at any point; they were created as angels (in Human likeness) to protect the Humans.
    2. Angels cannot wear clothing that exists in the world; this means that any clothing with a brand name does not work.
    3. Angels cannot eat fruit (unless absolutely no one was around to see the floating fruit be eaten). Angels can only eat in utmost secrecy, and even then, would only be doing it for the sake of eating, as they require no food or water to live.
    Other than that, it looks pretty good. So edit those parts and you'll be accepted.

    Technically Angels don't have /lives/. They are merely brought into existence and retain the physical age and appearance of their choosing. They don't die unless they are killed, and they do not reincarnate if killed.

    So angels are a one-life kind of creature.

    I'm not saying it's your fault, but it's not really one of the "rules", it's just sort of implied. I think it's better for me to just correct people who make the mistake, since the rules are specifically about their Guardianship.
     
    sweet, thanks for the reserve wolf :) will post the SU for my human tonight, got a couple of exams today and tomorrow, so forgive the slow posting :) Its only temporary while I get to probe skeletons for the next few days :)
