The thread of your dreams

I recall that it started like any normal day, with me sitting in the living room with my family, when I guess someone wondered where our dog Petey was. Since he normally is always around us, I thought that made some sense and went to look for him. He was in my sister's room, just all by himself for some reason. I didn't think much of it, and I called him over. He listened and was about to head out the door, when all the sudden, right when he went past the doorframe, he turned around and started staring intently at something behind me. At first, I didn't really give it much thought, and was about to get him moving again, when I noticed he was on the verge of growling, not a playful growl, but a growl like another dog was entering his territory. I slowly turned around, and there was something sitting on the wall, something that I couldn't properly describe unless I could have that exact dream again. The only features that the thing had that I can remember is that is was a sort of pitch black looking human-shaped thing, and its body seemed to pulsate the very same inky-blackness that it was made of. And its face seemed to be a greyish color, and the spots where its mouth and eyes seemed to scooped out, all you could see was black. I turned and ran, not even worrying about leaving my dog with that thing. I remember running and slipping as I entered the living room where my family still remained, and it sort of just ends there. I woke up and had trouble getting back to sleep, like I always do after nightmares since I worry that whatever I dreamt about is watching me in my room. Well, that's it.

I find myself locked in a big, metal shipping container, like the kind you would find on big cargo boats, but on land for some reason. There is a lot of other people in the contain as well. They all have a strange look about them, a look I couldn't even figure out when I was still dreaming. We are locked in the container because apparently there are a bunch of zombie or something out side. The dream never really mentions whether the people on the outside are zombies, or just people who want in the container. Also, the container seems to be at a 45 degree angle, but when you look at it from the outside, it appears to be laying flat. The dream doesn't explain this detail either. It gets a little hazy around this part, but some people say it's safe to go outside. Most people leave the container, but I convince some people that I reconized from real life to stay for a reason that has been long forgotten. Then I guess me and the people I convinced to stay shove out the people who intially said it was safe to go out, because they were actually trying to trick us or something. I can't really remember who all the people were in my dream, I just know they were people I knew. Also, I don't when, but all of the sudden there was cat with us named Tuffy or something like that. Who had a mouse as a best friend. A short time later, I hear a large number of vehicles approaching. I look out a window that the container apparently had and I thought they looked sort of like old western-type bandits. With big machine guns. They scare off or kill all the people/zombies that were around the container. I tell the others in the container the good news, and they were overjoyed. I tell everybody to stay back while I check out the situation outside. I pop out of a hatch that I don't remember existing before (This container must have some ability to conjure up windows, doors, and other things whenever they may be needed,) and I tell the bandit people how happy we all are to see them. Then the cat and mouse I mentioned earlier jumped out of the container. I move to go get them, but the lead bandit person said that was not nessesary. Because pets aren't allowed in bandit convoys or something...? I'm not entirely sure, maybe he just had something against animals. Also, one of the bandits must have looked into the container when I wasn't looking, because he also said the remaining people had to die, because of reasons. Very important reasons, apparently. I go back to tell the others the bad news. They look at me expectantly and start to ask questions with very noticeable joy about how they were saved. When the notice that I don't answer right away, they start to get worried. After that part unfortunately, my dream got to difficult to remember.
