    This week, we're back with another battle of the genders as suggested by Azire. This time around, we'll be looking at the two very different gender differences of Meowstic- the evolution of everyone's favorite creepy cat Pokemon. With that said, your question this week is:

    Do you prefer the male or female version of Meowstic?

    So, do you prefer the more supportive role of the blue-furred male, or the attacking prowess of the white-furred female? It's time for you to vote away!

    I love Meowstic, with its gender difference concept. I love both gender designs, but I think the female gets the nod ahead for me because the one I used on my first champion team was female and I like her Pokemon Amie reactions better than the male's. Doesn't stop both being cuties who can hit hard and provide decent support.
     
    I don't like Espurr. He/she is probably the creepiest 6th Gen pokemon. However, the evolutions are pretty good.

    Male Meowstic: Male Meowstic is awesome. Competitively he is much better than female Meowstic and woks at his best in Double battles. T-Wave + Dual Screen Meowstic spelsl doom for the opponents.

    Female Meowstic: With everything going for Male Meowstic you might be thinking 'That female thing is gone.' Well you're wrong. Female Meowstic has one of the best designs of any pokemon of the sixth generation. I also feel that Meowstic-F radiates an aura of awesomeness around it. Thus my vote goes to Meowstic-F.
     
    I personally prefer female Meowstic, as their color-schemes look better to me. :3 Like male ones, too, but just not as much. I don't know which to go with when it comes to battling, though; have really used them. Their stats seem to be the same, so I guess there's not much noticeable difference?
     
    I haven't used them so I can only speak in regard to their concept and design :3 They are really creepy pokémon, haha. Espurr or not. I find the male Meowstic cuter; he looks so innocent and willing to help and defend. Female really is spot on cool though. I, uh, can't choose between them, sorry!
     
    I went with Meowstick (M) due to his amazing usefulness in battle. Prankster is never to be underestimated. He has the move pool to do many things and you'll never know what until he does it. Also a Prankster Trick Room setter has to be one of the best additions.

    Meowstick (F) I like a lot, the design is great and possibly better than the Male. Regardless I like both design wise. So far I have only owned Meowstick (F) as a Shiny though so that helps make it special. I will breed a Shiny Male Espurr eventually.
     
    I never liked the design of the male Meowstic, the combination of the colors and eyes just makes him creepy to be honest. And seeing how I haven't used either of them in battle, I'd go with the female Meowstic. Interesting though how they can take on different roles, I can't think of another same-species Pokemon that's similarly unique.
     
    The problem with Meowstic is that its stats just don't cut it. Meowstic doesn't hit hard enough with that average-at-best Special Attack, and is almost useless in-game. Competitively, male Meowstic sounds like a great option to use in the lower tiers, as he has Prankster and a decent support movepool, but I'm worried about him becoming outclassed by Liepard. Female Meowtic should never be used since she once again doesn't hit hard enough, even with that good Speed stat.

    With that said, I picked male. I have to admit, however, that the female variant looks better.
     
    I dislike Meowstic, but if I had to choose, male. At least in terms of design. And it also gets Prankster, which is pretty cool. I guess they both have their advantages, although again I don't care for either of them particularly.
     
    This question is impossible for me to choose from, I love both equally. Both are just too beautiful... for battling I prefer the female (sadly going to choose it for the poll).
     
    I decided to vote after all and chose the female form. Then I looked at the poll and saw that it was in the lead, yay. But yeah, it's a tough choice as I haven't really been in contact with them. I really gotta throw on into a RP soon!
     
    Both are way too cute. I caught both, but I was lucky to grab a female with infiltrator so she's been my main ever since. I like her design a bit more also because she looks so fancy
     
    I like the male version better. The one I've been training with has been an excellent member of my team so far.
     
    I hate you for that first spoilered picture. ;~;

    anyway, I prefer Male Meowstic, as it's proven itself as a strong Pokemon both in game and competitively, mainly because of flexibility in moveset and Prankster. Prankster's irritating, and I like irritating opponents. ~(^_^~). Sure, the female one looks lovely with that beret-like hair style, but the male has the edge in basic viability. I don't really like Competitive as an ability, and Male Meowstic with its supportive role benefits its moveset better, at least in my opinion. That, and the female's learnset doesn't help with its stat arrangement.
     
    The female one looks very adorable. Apart from that, Espurr also looks very adorable. Since we have this adorable cult going around over here, I shall state that Meowstic (f)◘ is adorable.

    Nothing else to add, actually. I just compared the design since I never had Espurr, haha.
     
    Hmm, interesting to see that this vote was a lot closer than our last gender face-off of Nidoking and Nidoqueen.

    Since I've got limited experience using them, my vote is mostly based on design. Of the two, I much prefer male Meowstic, with its blue fur and stripes on its ears and tail. I'm also not a big fan of the curled tail and fur of the female Meowstic.

    And with that, this POTW will be destickied, but that doesn't mean you can't continue voting and posting if you haven't already. The next POTW should be up shortly, so keep an eye out for that!
     
    The title of this thread, oh my gosh {XD}

    I love Meowstic so much, both the male and female. They're cute and fun, and strong too. Also cats, which is always a good thing. About their design, I admit I like the female's more. She has a beret and a scarf, so adorable! Though it's their expressions that are just the best thing ever, so I won't base my vote on this.

    I actually trained both for my in-game team, I couldn't decide to have just one of them, and since training was easier this generation, in the end I just got both, and nicknamed them Armand and Marguerite, to go with the French naming theme I had going. Now, I don't know if lady luck favored the male and he ended up with better stats than the female, but I found myself using him more often than her.

    All this being said, I voted for male Meowstic, and they are now tied, hehe.
