    Sooooo people were talking about why they joined PC?

    I will admit, it was Pokemon ShinyGold that made me join, but the people that made me stay. :P

    @Andy That would require me to go search memes from 2006 and that is not something I feel like revisiting. :P
     
    The only reason I joined PC was because I was desperately in need to find another Pokémon forum to join after getting banned from SPPF, when someone stole my account, and BMGF, when my suicidal thoughts got me into serious trouble.


    I've never heard of that meme before, because I never seen it used in youtube, in other forums, and in KYM.
     
    Heh, I joined for ROM hacking, since my join date doesn't really correspond to a release of sorts by GF.

    I'm wanting to get my old join date back (November 21, 2009) but idk what the status quo on that is between Geoff and I. I think he wants me to be certain I'm willing to give up everything but my name and usergroup, and I am. 2009 was my most favorite year aside from 2013. :3
     
    You can't just...have them merged? That's what I did when I got my account back...kept the posts from both accounts, the join date from Touj, and the name from Oryx.

    Basically, one is the "host" account, and the other has all their stuff put into it. Friends get merged, posts get merged, I assume contacts get merged. If emblems don't get merged (I'm not sure on that one since I didn't have any on Oryx when it was done), they can be reissued anyway.

    Ah, sounds good. I don't like the idea of two merged accounts sharing only the number of posts, friends, contacts, and emblems from the most recent account.
     
    I'm pretty sure emblems don't work since emblems afaik aren't a default vB system so the forum doesn't really know how to handle them. ): I could be wrong tho.

    I wouldn't have bothered merging if the posts weren't carried over. I just wanted my couple hundred (I think?) posts from Oryx on Toujours, that was all.

    Already planning my name change in...September though. >:3
     
    I joined PC because I had been a victim of mod power abuse at my previous forum plus I needed to chat with people who actually care about my love of Pokemon. In real life I was often mocked for being a Pokemon fan in their 20's.

    When I was in high school, we didn't start summer break until usually around June 20th ;_; (and in Korea, summer school doesn't start until mid-July, but we have longer winter breaks)

    Of course that had to change the year I was a senior.
     
    I have no choice, but to attend summer school since I started in January versus September of 2013 like normal people do. So we're basically playing catch up with them until we're at the same place this September.
     
    Yaaay a new DCC! No more double posts. ;w;

    I'm not taking school over the summer this year. It's a bit of a long story why I'm not doing anything at all but it's relaxing to have a break for once. My school does full terms three times a year and I've been in school nonstop for 2+ years now... so it's nice to have a term off for the first time in a while.
