    It's that time of year again. Few more weeks and a new season is about to kickoff! What are you guys watching this summer season?

    • Shokugeki no Soma: Ni no Sara - More foodgasms are always welcomed.
    • Mob Psycho 100 - gunna be gud.
    • Rewrite - One of the few VN's I've played. Out of respect, might as well see if the adaptation will live up to its name.
    • Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! - Cute. Hope Cocoro Palette gets played as an insert song somewhere.
    • Arslan Senki: Fuujin Rabu - Hope the CGI will be better. But, eight episodes...

    • New Game! - Cute girls make cute games.
    • Handa-kun - Wonderful.
    Tentative:

    • Taboo-Tattoo - Reminds me of a campy shonen.
    • Tales of Zostrich the X - I can almost taste the amount of backstory they'll be cramming into this series.
    • ReLife - We'll see how this goes.
    • Tenkyou no Alderamin - ... The particular design for the mouths and noses are still weird.
    • Masou Gakuen HxH - Hisasi designs and an AT-X airing. Hmm...

    • Love Live! Sunshine!! - Not feeling it.
    • Orange - Maybe. Hanakana lead though. Satoshi must be thrilled.
    • Qualidea Code - So, uh. This is what Watari has been working on instead of Vol.12?
    Will be going to go into with the lowest of expectations:

    • Berserk (2016) - I mean, Golden Age III was a fairly decent mix of CGI and hand-drawn scenes. But this is something else.

    Exactly this. Berserk is always such a disappointment. Manga always on hiatus, the first anime aborted at cliffhanger, the movies are an horrible CG. And now more CG. I hate this.

    Well, even better. One should watch it for #basedUfotable anyway and if they change the story, it won't spoil the game one, brilliant!
    Plus, if they are changing the story, it definitely means more Alisha xD

    #basedUfotable ftw. Loved the sequences they did for the game. I'm happy either way since I have already played the game. I'll enjoy it if they made changes and the same will be true if they don't =b The story is not anything that'd blow your brains anyway, so its all good.

    I have a question for you actually - I understand picking certain anime up due to VAs, or HanaKana in particular. But do you enjoy all of them and do they automatically become 10/10 because HanaKana? Because, as of late, I've begun picking certain anime due to the cast or just because a certain studio is doing it too. But the series still has to have some merit otherwise I'm just gonna straight up drop it - favorite cast/studio or not. Is that the same case with you, too?

    Or is it "ZOMG HANAKANA AUTOMATIC 10/10 AOTS ALL HANAKANA ANIME FTW"? XD;

    Anyway, here's my list:

    Definitely checking out:

    Shokugeki no Soma: Ni No Sara - FUCKING AOTS BITCHES
    Tales of Zestiria the X - #basedUfotable and I played the game. Story was decent. Wynaut.
    91 Days - Synopsis reads nice. I'll pick it up because curious.
    Arslan Senki - Saw S1 and liked it.
    Berserk - Whether or not CG is bearable will decide if I stick to it or not. Definitely checking it out though.
    D.Gray Man HALLOW - Saw S1. Things have escalated so this sequel will pick it up at an interesting point in the story.
    DAYS - I loved Captain Tsubasa. MAPPA is doing this. Will watch.
    Handa-kun - Loved Barakamon. This should be interesting.
    Mob Psycho 100 - The art style and animation. PV sold me on this one. Hope it delivers.
    Seven Deadly Sins - Only 4 episodes but I'm definitely picking up since S1 was a blast.
    orange - super hyped for this since the manga is well received and this looks like it might be THE show of the season.
    ReLIFE - Heard it is an adaptation of a manhwa? Either way, looks interesting.

    Special case -

    Kono Bijutsu-bu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! - Nana Mizuki OP and feel as studio. Gonna watch this just for this reason. XD;

    I don't drop anything I start so... pretty much 10/10 because of HanaKana xDDD
    And ALL HANAKANA ANIME FTW is correct :P
    But if I find something else I like, AOTS may be something without HanaKana.

    I mean, just hearing her first line can make one episode ultra enjoyable :D
     
    Definitely watching:
    Shokugeki no Soma S2 - Yes yes YES.
    Prisma Illya 3rei - Because Type-Moon.

    Might watch:
    Tales of Zestiria the X - Ehhh the game looked interesting enough. Why not watch an anime of it.
    Rewrite - The VN is sitting on my other comp. May or may not watch this because of it.

    Shokugeki no Soma - watched the first season and enjoyed it. Looking forward to my weekly dose of hyoe
    Hanada Kun - Barakamon spin off, think it'll be a nice comedy.

    Will have to check out orange and Rewrite for 3 eps and see how they go. Don't know much about them other than the fact that they are all popular from their source material.
     
    Watching a lot from this season. <3 I've never really paid much attention to newly-released anime and always waited until they were recommended to me, but this time I'm making my own decisions.

    It's a lot to me, shush.

    Most excited about Love Live! and Servamp right now. Love them too much and we're only a few episodes in.
     
    Surely:
    DGM Hallow - I´ve waited 5 years for this, no matter if the animation is a bit wobbly sometimes. It´s Kanda in glorious HD.
    Danganronpa Despair and Future - I´ve enjoyed the first season and the first episodes were quite enjoyable, too.
    Arslan Senki Fuujin Ranbu - I love Arakawa´s version of the characters. The story is catchy if you are patient enough.
    Tales of Zestiria X - I have the game. Though I´m enjoying it, I´m lazy so I didn´t finished it yet. But I know enough to enjoy the anime.

    DAYS - I´ve seen the first episode, though. It´s interesting.
