My dream home...

...is a quaint, cozy cottage somewhere in the woods, but somehow with all amenities and desirable things in walking distance.

What's your dream home?

My dream home would be a penthouse or otherwise large apartment in NYC with a view of Central Park. I've always wanted to live in New York, but I'm not big on cramped living spaces so that combination would be perfect for me.

I'm not fussy. Just a nice quiet place where my mother & I can live in peace.

Something like a small house on top of a tall rock on a coastline set a good distance from the nearest town/city, provided there's reliable internet access and electricity. Saw a picture of something like that once and always though it'd be nice. Might've been a lighthouse really, but that maybe works too.

Not that I'll ever be able to own a house....

I have a simplistic answer: stairs.

We have 3 floors in our home. Each floor isn't massive, but it divides the space enough that we never feel compact.

I'd much rather have divided floors than to be in one sprawling house.

And it's so frustrating. I have good credit and a job and the bank is just like no

Any house that doesn't have a pest problem and doesn't need a lot of work to fix up really.
Preferably a stand alone house so I don't get to hear neighbors through the walls.

I have some specifications, but the top specification is that it is in New England (or Canada, should the US go south).

Otherwise, I still would like to live in a suburb. I want ceiling fans, and air conditioning and heating. Good high-speed internet. Some of those are necessities, not just wants, though. lol. A dream home, maybe would be in an old Western European style, since I love their architectural styles. However, even my dream home wouldn't be super big. So a smaller home but in a style maybe like an English cottage, or French chateau style, or Palladian.

My dream home would have a fully decked out kitchen with lots of pantry/cabinet space and two dishwashers. I'll buy a set of like 40 plates/cups so I don't have to keep washing the same 4 plates and 4 cups lol. Other than that, I'm not picky! My current home already has everything to make me comfortable - air conditioning, high-speed internet, hardwood floors, cozy office space, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, private fenced backyard, two car garage with driveway, and close to the malls/beaches. The kitchen is a little small, though.
