Shovelware gates are the gates used to prevent shovelware(crappy) games from making it onto popular systems. Games like cheer, ninjabread man, and Final Fantasy II are shovelware games because they are awful and should have never been made in the first place.

Ohhh I see what you mean.

You'll pretty much always have that though.. Some game producer with the money comes along with a "cool" concept for a game, demands changes to anything good in the engine because they want to be "new and different" and then the studio digs themselves a hole :/

Just look at like.. Silicon Knights. They worked on Metal Gear Solid. Now? They're struggling hardcore cause they signed a contract to do a 3 game trilogy.. and the first one that just recently got released BOMBED. (I forget the name of it though)

lawl, seriously? I'll have to check that out. The least the wii could do is sell more hardcore gamer games. I heard madworld was really successful.

Yeah.. sucks cause it's in St. Catherines Niagra Falls.. so it sounds like it would've been a super nice place to work.. but oh well.

Sort of.. but not really! Corey just texted me so I'll stay up till he gets home. It's like 3AM though and I'm so tired.. I gotta work tomorrow but I guess I'll just sleep in a bit or something.

Yeah.. but we have a group meeting at 3PM so I was hoping to get some extra work done. I worked like a week on a super hard 4 second scene but it's just about done. I started two easy scenes and I wanted to get them done by the end of tomorrow..
