I feel weird for not being a particular fan of Mario or Zelda. They're cool and all, but I can name much better games. For example, Rayman on the PS1 is infinitely better than any side scrolling Mario game Nintendo could excrete.
And Zelda, the game is just annoying. It isn't even a fun puzzle game since you'll find yourself doing nothing in that one dungeon for hours. You aren't even given good hints, if any, to help with the dungeon. All you are given is the idea that you need to use whatever item you obtained in that dungeon.

You never even played Rayman for the PS1 did you?

Any game with a soundtrack like that must be good. I win.
 
174317. Though I admit I've never played Rayman (I didn't even own a console until 1999, and that was a Sega Genesis), I do not think that's the most epic soundtrack in video games in the slightest. That belongs to the various Sim City games. Can Rayman produce anything like these tracks?

I'm not a person that likes The Sims. As cool as realism is in a video game, it's just executed too terribly in a Sims game.
You would know if you only bought Rayman. If you know anyone that has a PS3, you can get them to buy it for only 6 bucks. That's a definite steal for the best side scrolling game ever.

Rayman brings back childhood memories of when I visited a friend's house almost every week just to play that game on her PS1. It was awesome.
