Armaldo lives on the bottom of a deep sea, Yanmega in a jungle, Trapinch in a desert...

I can imagine Venonat having some kind of nest in the bushes... Or they're some kind of urban pest, like in Pokémon Ranger.

Ah, you're getting the hang of it.

That's it.
Spinarak could be kind of urban, considering real spiders are.
Maybe Skorupi could live in deserts, considering they're Scorpions.

Still, it's an assumption.
but i can take a hint, this topic is crap.
If you were up against Lance, what would be the most effective bug team to use?

I'm not sure about an entire team, but I'd use Masquerain. It can learn Blizzard. I'd probably also have a Ninjask to Baton Pass some Speed Boosts.

Armaldo (Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Water Pulse)
Masquerain (Ice Beam, Blizzard)
Venomoth (Psychic)
Vibrava (Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse)
Scizor (Swords Dance, Slash, Iron Head)
Foretress (Explosion)

Yeah, i think this would work...

@tkallab
swords dance caterpie (XD)

@Draggy:
Yeah that would be very effective, i acctually would have already estimated Vibrava since i used it to kick Drake's butt in the E4 on my solo run with it.

^^Of course! DUH ;)
New topic for all of you:
Which Bug Pokemon ought to learn HM Fly in your opinion?

Most bug type Pokemon can't learn fly because of the fact that the majority of them are pretty small. Masquerain is included there. At the same time, one cannot imagine flying on a Pidgey either. @_@

Some sort of discrimination against bugs I guess. XD

>Implying I didn't make that topic some time ago

Most Bugs just don't seem strong enough to carry a human... But all those stage 1 birds don't either.

Shinysweetie, Flygon can learn Fly, actually. He's just not a Bug.

Well, you'd have to watch out using Vibrava, because he's a Dragon type too...

I know. if it wasn't for Kyogre and many revives i would have lost that match XD

But of course flygon beats them all.

He's not a bug :/

i agree, the thought of a bug carrying you around is absurd XD
New topic: Argument:
Title:

What About That Pinecone?!
Discuss Pineco and Forretress, argument on what it is, why it's bug, if it should even be bug...same for forretress, what is it? why is it bug?

If that argument's not good for ya how about:

The Unbreakable Shuckles....
Argument on Shuckle....why is this a bug? what is it anyway? a worm, get argumenting.

I don't know if we've discussed these before as i missed alot due to the move to canada, and you lot had to keep yourselves amused didn't you? XD.

Great topic Xil.
I'll answer the first one for now.
Well really, WHAT about that pinecone? I really don't see how gamefreak came to idea to identify pinecones to bugs! The very idea is absurd!
I do like their designes, but not much bug-like there...

My thoughts exactly. I think pineco should have been Grass-type. And Forretress should have been just Steel. It would create less RAEG if a Steel/Bug is introduced then.
But apparently Pineco is based on a bagworm..? I don't believe it.
