This is very interesting, I would like to throw in a application myself. I'm not really sure how this will play out for me but I'm going to do it anyway. I'm hoping to get some experience with this, I tend to stray from Pokemon RP's for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why but I do. Anyway, I'll try this one out.

P.S. Sorry if the coding looks familiar on the Pokemon section, I just couldn't help but admire the work. Nice job @Chalifoux. Also, I love the idea of back sprites, I wouldn't mind having one of Nori, though I'm sure the hair will be hard to get down :)

Full Name: Nori Sunnydale, King or The Smiling Trainer
Gender Male, Japanese-American
Age: 17
Appearance: Nori is a mature looking youth, who always keeps a more or less serious expression. Cream skin, covers the soft contours of his face, making a childish roundness that is unexpectedly charming and subjectively attractive. His slanted eyes carries natural bags that appear even when he's has a considerable amount of sleep. Inside those lines are light brown eyes, something comparable to hazel but holding a much warmer aspect. Curly, fluffy hair lays atop of his head, falls between his thin dark brows, and flails around his ears. It stops neck length but for some reason seems a lot longer than that from the front.

His moniker "Smiling Trainer" comes from this, despite his lack of smiling, when he does smile it can be overwhelming. A sense of warmth and immense joy often spreads out around the area and he tends to feel amazing for the next couple of minutes afterwards. His oak brown eyes close shut from the effortless action and he often blushes from the emotions whirling inside. It a very beauteous smile

Average in height and slender in build, Nori is mostly composed of lean muscles. He stands at 5'8" and weights little. Fashionable at his worst, but knowing how to manage between comfort and looking good, he tends to wear clothes that brings out his best. When traveling around, he often wears stylish navy jacket that buttons up near the neck, and wings to his thighs. A casual black t-shirt is enough to cover his torso and leaned jeans are on his legs. He is often seen wearing a pair of boots for his explorations.

Personality: Nori can be, without a doubt, the kindest and sweetest soul someone would ever meet. The youth has a very friendly aura about him, regardless of how he tries to make himself seem on the outside. Which is to be expected, on the inside he is indeed a kind soul that longs for others to accept him. When he sees others in pain, especially those that he holds dear, he can't help but offer an ear or advice; even if that advice is a bit overbearing or crude. His overall personality reminded his friends back at home of a nobleman -which somehow became "King"-; saying that he looked over them with a watchful eye and was always there to back them up, even if they were in the wrong. He speaks with a quiet tone and seems a bit rough around the edges at first, preferring to keep to himself unless someone speaks to him first.

Besides his inner light, Nori can be quite the crude and blunt individual. He says the sweetest things in ways that would make him seem to be the bad guy. And honestly he doesn't intend on changing it. He finds it to be a good outlet for his kindness and at the same time, it keeps most people at arm's length; most of the time. He has the bad habit of biting the nail of his thumb when feeling especially troubled and will often feign a fake smile when uncomfortable with a conversation. He's also stubborn and a bit hotheaded, especially when it comes to helping others in need, if he feels his way of helping is better and knows the opposite is wrong, than he'll probably do it his way. His own faults tends to sneak up on him, especially his hidden vanity; he secretly dislikes the permanent bags under his eyes.

When it comes to his Pokemon, they usually are capable of keeping him in check. They get the bulk of his kindness and more often than not will hear his inner secrets. He thoroughly enjoys the bond that he shares with his Pokemon, even if one or two causes him problems, he loves them all. Every Pokemon is like a gift to him and he'll admit openly that he respects them just a bit more than humanity.

Backstory: Nori can't remember the earliest days of his past. He can't remember his birth father nor his mother, nor how he even came to live in the orphanage. His only friends for four years were constantly being snatched and replaced in his life. So he grew use to mentally keeping people at arm's length. With the monthly adoptions, Nori had come use to feigning a cheerful disposition, it had come second nature to him to smile fondly at someone or even spark up a pointless conversation. Things like these were the norm for him.

As the years progressed, Nori slowly joined an entourage of other orphans. Three others to be precise, his friends that he cherished greatly. Ore: a spunky younger girl that always had something cute to say, Lenum: the older one that for some reason always found trouble, and Touma: the leader of the small group that kept them out of trouble. Through their shenanigans and experiences together, the four of them grew a bond like no other. It was truly special.

When Nori turned 13, he was adopted by Amora: a traveling trainer who was famed for her past accomplishments and insane love for Pokemon. For two years they traversed various regions together, bonding slowly while she taught him about Pokemon. In the beginning Nori found the woman to be eccentric and a bit irritating, but by the end of their journey he had realized it was her eccentrics that made her truly amazing.

Her family, which was somehow a rainbow of races and personalities, all seemed to be eccentrics as well. Even her younger brother, who was the closest to normal, was a bit eccentric when it came to Pokemon and people. He preached that every person had a Pokemon that was the spitting image of them, and rebuked the fact that his Quilava didn't look anything like him. Mabuchi is also a traveling trainer and was one of the first to leave the family home in Jhoto after their little get together. Apparently the Sunnydale family is crawling with trainers that are capable of leaving marks on others.

His life became very pleasant after Amora and he returned to their home in the Kalos region. She explained that she was 28 and had been traveling since she was 17, that she had acquired many Pokemon and experienced true moments of bliss with them. That, if she had not seen the same despairing look in his eyes, that she had seen in other abandoned Pokemon, that she probably would not have adopted him. Of course, after that she threw her overbearing love all over him and promised that she loved him more than anything in the world.

It was a few months after his 17th birthday, with Noisy cuddled up between his legs, that an opportunity presented itself on the television. As he watched, he remembered his mother telling him that she had left out for her journey when she was 17. Yea, it seemed like the perfect time for him to start his own journey. But how would he drop such a bomb on his eccentric and overbearing mother?

Met At: This little gal was received as gift from Nori's uncle, Mabuchi. Apparently, upon capture in the Kalos Region, Mabuchi said that he was instantly reminded of Nori. Plus, it was known to be pretty rare. What's better than a rare Pokemon to give to an adorable upstart like Nori? Answer: Nothing.

Other: Noisy wears a black and purple checkered scarf around her neck, it fashioned so that he tails are squared and short, so that it couldn't possibly be used against her. It's also the first handkerchief he used to bandage up the reckless Pokemon. She tends to be a rowdy little thing and is known for her intense jealousy. Females and guys alike, watch out cause she'll blast you if she thinks you're getting to close to Nori.

Comet / Litleo [M] Lv.2 // Unnerve (Moxie)

& Tackle | Leer | Protect | Ember
Met At: Nori found Comet on his way to his current destination. While walking through Kalos' Snowbelle City he just so happen to run into a circus caravan. Traveling with them for three days, Nori ended up befriending a Litleo and after their adventure, taking it along with him as a friend.

Other: Comet has a crimson scarf around his neck that flows behind his back, he's constantly tripping over it. This Pokemon is very shy compared to Noisy and only battles when encouraged by Nori's reluctant cheering. He's a very difficult Pokemon to get use to but has a lovable dependency that makes most see him as cute. A scar lies under the bottom of his jaw where he got into an accident with the caravan.​

I honestly found nothing wrong with your SU. It is a well defined character and the first one that had "fluffy" as an adjective for their hair, so that's nice, too. I'm more than happy to say you are accepted and I'm glad to have you on board!~​

On to the review: I'd like it if you could add a height and weight for reference to the Appearance section, otherwise I don't have a problem with it~ The personality is dreadfully short, BUT since I get a reasonable grasp of Herra's slightly backstabbing nature and her ways of acting I shall pass it as it is.

That backstory, woah. I shed a tear upon reading about Poor Madeline ;~;
While I don't have any sort of issues with it, it's the fact it was typed in first-person. I don't ask of you to change it, because it causes the right reaction from such a personal point of view. What I ask is that your posts remain in third-person, because a post in first-person makes the reader believe the character speaking is the one and true protagonist when it is actually the entire cast that shares that spotlight :3
