I think Contests are more like in the anime so I'm thinking there's a lot Magikarp could do. I mean just splashing in one spot would make the water splash everywhere and it'd be all shiny like everything in the Contest Halls

Battles = explosions, Contests = sparkles

The Pokemon world really is amazing XD

I guess everyone has their own personal favourites, huh? I wish I could make use of contest-optimized stuff in BW. XD I think having contests like the anime would be... breathtaking.

I dunno if this was mentioned about the fanfic but what about if we do a kind of Mystery Dungeon style fanfic where we take the roles of our partner Pokemon. I dunno. It seems like a good idea for me.

Relicanth is utterly lovely! <3 It's a very under-rated Pokemon in my mind, it needs recognition! We should all raise Relicanths <3

Which Water-type Pokemon would do best in a Pokemon Contest?
Well, there's Milotic but that's obvious. Vaporeon is elegant enough to win a beauty contest, Chinchou, Mantyke and Marill have cute contest potiental, Slowking, Starmie and other Water/Psychic types are very intelligent so they can win the smarts and Blastoise is cool enough to win and also Gyarados has the guts to win a tough contest.

I love Wooper!
It has the forever happy smile and I love the way it jumps around. ^_^

Their line is adorable tome as well. Ignore the pichu, but the Wooper and Quagsire are cute. :cer_blush: They help me get through HeartGold though, so they're quite strong...

Love the Chinchou lighting up the area at the bottom. Is Alomomola in somewhat a relation to Luvdisc or no? Two always seem to be together on several occasion

Hmm...the competition could be held in Christmas, later, or sooner depending on the members. Well, prizes are covered, so I don't have to worry about that. As far as the event goes, the whole point is to write a fanfic, or small story that isn't too long(please not pages long...unless you really want to), nor too short (more than 3 paragraphs is fine, unless it's too short and you want to bump it up higher). It has to be based on water pokemon, and I'm not sure for how long it will go....we either host it for a specific starting and ending date, or we wait until each member who wanted to participate post their results....that's all I got as it being planned. We also need some members to give us hints on this.
