As for contests, I say why not! They are fun and everyone loves prizes. It also shows a passion for the club and we can build up a stock of...how do you say, an individual and unique contribution to the club from anyone that participates in whatever the contest is about.

Edit: Oh and I almost forgot! Congratulations Otherworld9)! I'm sure you'll be a most wonderful higher-up.

That evolution is simply........unexplainable. Aweinspiring. Amazing. A work of art. If they chose that as its evolution...I would simply adore it and make it my number one pokemon. :3

I'm not liking that fan-made Relincanth evolution to be honest - it's too long and has a lot of red dots (I thought Relicanth's red dot signifies the location of treasure, like from a treasure map, but that's just too many in my opinion). However, a Relicanth evolution would still be nice. :D

Oh and can I suggest an event? Perhaps maybe a little short-story fanfic contest? You have to write a story that has a Water-type Pokemon as the main character and then everyone votes on the one they like the most. Or maybe a poem contest? Just throwing out ideas here~ ^^;

From experience, Corsola. I'm currently using it to achieve Master Rank Beauty in my Diamond. I'm not sure about Milotic being good in a Beauty Contest. Oh and Marill and Quagsire are splendid choices for Cute Contests too. :D

Fanfics? Sure...why not? As long as Diamond and I are not the only ones participating. :cer_eek:

The pokemon I deem best would be Milotic. Sure, it's overused and such for contests, but from what I witnessed in the anime, Milotic seems to be the best. Now, as for personal taste...I would have to say Kingdra would do an amazing job being a dragon/water pokemon.

@Dual Blade: Make some suggestions and I might be able to approve them. Or like miakalina stated, just VM me to plan it out or som....

I'm thinking Contest in the anime context and not game (didn't like the game contests that much). A Wailmer obviously (duh) or Lumineon, I can think up so many combinations using Wailmer's roundness and Lumineon's likeness to a butterfly

Yup, Dragonite should be since in one game, it was hinted by an NPC that dragonite was the Guardian of the Sea....in PMD I believe...

I love the water-club fanfic idea! I can only suggest that it have a sort of limit? I'd hate to suggest that, since a writer could get very attached and keep going with it (if they do it'd be great and they could post it in the fanfiction thread), but the contest would last a long time if it wasn't a short story contest. xD

I think it's fair to say any pokemon can do well in a contest with the right amount of coordination, friendship, and teamwork between trainer and pokemon.
