It all depends on when we find out that truth- if it were to happen. I'm certain that the anime writers would rewrite episodes or omit that plot element. It would look silly, since people hiding things usually have hints that they're something they're not (in fiction, at least), so that it doesn't seem stupid when we find out the truth.

Well, we've already been introduced to his "evil" side via Cabernet... I suppose if they were to pick up on that plot idea soonish then it would still seem feasible.

I don't know if that's an evil side so much as him getting carried away by his arrogance. However, I'm always more intrigued by villains with a calmer demeanour (think Dimentio from Super Paper Mario) than those always spewing out crazies. Those bad guys are the scariest when they lose their temper.

It shouldn't be that hard to translate... I mean, my assumption about what they were saying was basically the same as the translation you came up with.

That's what you'd think, but then you'd be wrong. I've seen people translate it as basically "ILU" "ILU2". I hope they were joking, or everybody and their dogs may think they know Japanese.

If the world became perfect tomorrow and Nintendo decided to release an anime and/or game series about the trio, what do you think it would be about?
them going on an adventure, with Cilan being the 'Ash person' i guess.
Would it be better if you could decide who you face and why? I think it should either stay as it is or you could be able to choose but you cant choose your type advantage (so if you choose Oshawott you get to choose out of Cilan and Cress etc.

That is sad but we could probably guess the translation of what they are saying. this is why I want to learn Japanese.

'Tella's our official translator. ^_^ I can't read Japanese at all, but I can understand most of what's going on in the raw versions of the episodes. I'll have to get by like that, though, 'cause I fail at languages.

Yes, I'm very lucky with my Japanese. It works, since I'm so effin' impatient. It's especially good when I like a manga series that's only in Japanese. I will always prefer my native tongue, English, but I guess I have to polish my Japanese somehow.

I first battled against Cress because Tepig is pure awesome, and I wanted to actually have the hardest time I could, seeing that Water Gun and Tepig's low Sp. Def make Cress the hardest.

Which leader are you most similar to?
I would say that I am most similar to Cress, because of my calm, cool and collected personality. Also, I prune up just by looking at water.

I think that if something A-MAZE-ING like that happened, a game would be where you could pick who your primary character was, but you'd have to switch between the three constantly anyway. The plot, concerning both anime and game, would be their journeys before their days of being Gym Leaders, and, a part 2, how they became Gym Leaders.

Would it be better if you could decide who you face and why?

I wouldn't like that too much, because it'd defeat the purpose of both the "three leader" thing, and the first Gym in general.

I hope to talk about Cress the Trio a lot! 'Cause they're awesomeness.

Yes, that's right. Sometimes I read the Japanese out of necessity, but for the most part, anime and manga have been excellent in improving my Japanese over the last decade or so. I also think your idea about acting like our favourite triplet is fantastic! I think I'd pick Cress, seeing as I always have an avatar or him. It would be fitting!

Also, I have NO SHORTAGE of Striaton fanart. Every month or so, I trawl through the delight that is Pixiv~♥

Most of the pictures I have are mainly Dento. I need to get more pictures of all three of them. Wouldn't it be interesting if the brothers where controlled by the mask like how Dento was?
