Avatar: ♂ Its a bit hard to tell what your avatar is to be honest (please dont take that the wrong way my sight is pretty rotten at times), but I believe females would gravitate towards avatars that are prehaps more colourful or more detailed...this was hard to judge though.
Signature: ♀ Stereotypically, Glee has more female fans, not saying its a girls show, but that it attracts more girls than guys (again somewhat difficult to judge, hope I dont offend)
