Here's Part 2 of Bryony's Vision;

Spoiler:

In a room lit only by a single yet brilliant candle, Bryony awakened from her meditation, opening her eyes slowly to let her glimmering violet pupils adjust to the light. Taking a deep breath, she propelled herself upright in a way only a swan could mimic.

She walked with the grace and beauty of a leopardess towards a tall wooden door. The door opened slowly, without a single decibel of sound as she approached, as if it were bowing to a queen and letting her pass with dignity.

She took one last breath and stepped outside of her meditation chamber, ready to embrace the world outside of the mind and almost instantly, her mind returned from the other world with such a force, even the swan herself stumbled in an effort to stabilize her thoughts. A few deep breaths later, Bryony was once again upright.

With the mist of meditation now passed, her mind focused on all that had happened in the other world that is her mind. She remembered the mind link she had with the strange man in the strange house.

Who could he be? Why would he visit the old building in Galloway? What could be looking for? Hmm... Questions flew into her head faster than she could ask them. She wouldn't mind link with just anybody. He had to have been someone special. Someone not quite ordinary. She must travel to Galloway, to uncover the truth behind the man.

With a look of fierce determination, she strode towards along the long corridor and towards the exit that led to the outside of the League. Once again, the door opened itself and she swiftly moved past it, quite used to the extent of her subconscious powers and out into the brilliant sunlight she hadn't seen for over a month.

Bryony knew that even while the journey to Galloway town would be long and tiring, even for her, her resolve for the truth would drive her there. With that thought on her mind, she set out, onward to Galloway. Onward, to the man in her mind. Onward to the truth...

"Mm. Yes, butler?"

"My lady, I sincerely hate to intrude upon your morning rest, but I have successfully scheduled your appointment."

"Ah. My money-throwing event, I assume?"

"Precisely. Er, I apologize again for waking you..."

"Oh, no need for that. I've been sleeping far too long in my luxurious, queen mattress bed anyways. I should get to dressing in my walk-in closet... Must choose my outfit from the thousands available. Takes quite a bit of time, doesn't it, butler?"

"Indeed, indeed. And while you do that, might I compensate for my intrusion by fixing your breakfast?"

"Oh, that'd be very kind kind of you, butler. The usual, please."

"Scrambled eggs with flakes of gold?"

"Yes, marvelous! With gem-encrusted napkins on the side, if you would."​

Weavile was so imprudent to prick her with a claw. Beck shot awake as they'd stabbed her instead, which her Pokemon only sniffed oh-so-cheekily at, only making her madder.

"Good Goldeen, that was the best dream I've had in months, and you just had to wake me up during it!" They were already hobbling away but Beck was still able to fit in a "Thanks for nothing!" as her Weavile turned the other cheek.

But speaking of gold, the grains of sand stuck to Beck's tight black clothes made her look quite a mess. Her hair probably looked even worse; she hadn't dyed it in a while. Opportunity to do so was few and far in-between. A spy-ish bandit lifestyle didn't have the perks of settled-down Kantonian life. True, she had the occasional hide out and bag of possessions, but if she could settle down, Beck might have done it. However, a chance arose unlike one other. Some information on insurmountable treasure on this very area of the Theseus archipelago made itself known. Some old, dried-up battlegrounds with all sorts of relics lost in the dirt. I won't be the first to explore it, but I might be the first to find that diamond!

Yes, "diamond" was the magic world in this case. Beck needed to scrape together as much Poke as possible--or Gillies, as they were called here. Theseus was remarkably different than her home region. Far off the maps; it had taken near a week to reach it by sea. Still, its culture hardly varied from the usual, Trainers and all. Beck liked it, she supposed. Even if she didn't, it was still be necessary to work with it. Or work for that diamond!

Her mind had been on the prize, when she'd arrived by nightfall on this particular island, and even during her dreams. Wealth couldn't be far away. She could smell it, coating the inside of her nostrils and back of her throat. Beck inhaled deeply. Wealth and good fortune... But it was actually the scent of raw fish, and Beck gagged at its foulness. Delibird was jubilant and also a hearty eater. They gobbled up their fresh seafood with glee, Weavile following suit, carefully picking at the bones which got stuck to their frosty claws. With a snarl, they decided to try a less cautious method and dumped the meat into their mouths. Beck only watched disapprovingly at the savagery. I would teach them some civility if they weren't so darn independent. I should look for a Growlithe or something...​

Here's a little writing for Beck! A little rushed; I need to get some rest. But I will evaluate on her little quest in the future!

Sorry that I am not posting another story lately but I am trying to learn a music piece on the piano so I have to study...I may post the first part of Duncan's story or Johnnie's 2nd part on Sunday.. If I have the time...Again I'm so sorry!! :) :/

Johnnie decided to stay in Galloway town a little longer in order to re-investigate the Occult Mansion.
But he can't do that unless he crosses the Path of Woe again. This time, it seems that something has changed...
It is not the clear path it used to be when Johnnie first went to that creepy mansion. Now it is foggy, and Johnnie senses something ominous inside.
He hesitates for a moment at first, but then, he takes a deep breath and steps in... The path is small and dark and Johnnie has this feeling that he is being watched.
He walks and walks and suddenly, he sees a Litwick.
Johnnie opens his Pokedex and finds out that it is a fire type.
I have to use a Water type! He thinks
"Go Gyarados" Johnnie exclaims!
The Litwick uses Ember. Its little fire is being hurled at the Rados but it doesn't do any significant damage.
"Gyarados, use Hydro Pump" Johnnie shouts at the top of his lungs.
The little Litwick's flame is put out by the large ring of water and so it faints.
Johnnie continues walking. He can barely see in front of him so he doesn't really know where he is going.
"If only one of my Pokemon knew Flash.." He said to himself..
He thinks he is walking for ages now, with the sound of the wind as the only thing he has heard these few hours.
He marks a tree with an X because he believes he is going in circles all this time.
And he is right.. After a few turns and twists in the dark, creepy, linear path,
he sees the X on the tree he had marked a few minutes ago..
There is nothing around him that seems like a path. Only dead grass and trees.
When all hope of getting out of the path is lost, all of a sudden, he sees a little flashing light.
"Could I be going crazy?" He questions inside his mind.
He follows the light. As he approaches it he hears a voice...
"I will help you Johnnie, I have taken a liking to you!" He realises that it is the woman he met in the mansion.
He could never forget her sweet, soothing voice...
"Thank you" Johnnie says while bowing to her.
Johnnie sees the fog dispersing and the path clearing. It feels like all the life in the path has been restored.
He hears the birds chirping, he can see the clear morning sky again.
The woman tells Johnnie to go straight ahead and he will be facing the mansion again.
Johnnie reaches the mansion but before he goes in, he sits under a tree to rest his body and Pokemon..
A lot of questions are swimming in his mind.
"Who is this girl?","Why was she trapped?", "What were those powers she had?"
Thinking these, Johnnie dozed off....

Part 2 in the history of Shi no Omoi;

It had been seven years since the incident. Seven years since he turned his back on the world. He had run and run until he could run no more.

Along the way, people had tried to approach him. His friends, his family. They all understood what he felt and yet, no one really did. All he could do when his legs gave way was to endure. To run.

He found himself in a military training program, several years later. His father had taught him to think rationally and logically, even if his actions weren't moral or right. He knew he could never find the man who took his life from him. He needed to escape the reality.

In time, he would fight for his home, or at least, the only home he has left. He would fight for the remnants of his memories. He would fight and fight till his bones gave way and his heart stopped beating and then, he'd keep fighting.

I hope everyone liked it, it was sort of rushed, I'm a little pressed for time these days xD

Next up would be Bryony part 3 but I can't quite tell you when that' will come but stay tuned! >~<

Finally, here's Part 3 of Bryony's story;

The sun was strong and yet, the town lay in darkness. It was still morning and the fog was heavy on Bryony's shoulders. She walked through the fog, unflinching despite the cold, unwavering despite the mist. She had made it to Galloway Town without a problem, even though it took her almost two days to do so.

From a distance, the town had seemed to not exist. All she saw was a mass of white clouds stretching out in either direction. As she moved closer, while she could not see anything, she felt the presence of humanity, reassuring her of it's existence.

Bryony made her way through the town, only to be faced with a wall, stretching out into the white as far as she could see. She noticed a narrow opening and a sign on the wall. The letters, that almost seemed to have been scratched on, said, "The Path of Woe". She knew where she was. On the other side of the path lies her destination.

With a deep breath, calming her senses and focusing her mind, she stepped forward, into the Path of Woe. Bryony could not see the walls beside her, the fog inside the Path was simply too thick. She extended her arms to avoid colliding with anything and walked forward, still maintaining the grace she was known for. Soon, she could see a faint light, signalling the end of the Path. She passed through it and exited the path, stepping out in to a large clearing, free of fog.

Her eye's were not accustomed to light after the darkness. Bryony squinted for a moment and let her eyes adjust. She opened them slowly and saw the giant mansion looming above her. The wood was rotting, she could hear creaks. The eerie atmosphere itself seemed to want her gone.

She took a step forward and her eyes wandered to a large, lifeless tree that had rid itself of it's leaves long ago. At the base of that tree, Bryony found what she was looking for. Or rather, who she was looking for. At the base of that tree lay the man she shared her mind with.

She felt his mind and she knew he was yet alive. She decided to let his awake before she approached him. She placed a temporary link between their minds. It would let her know if he awoke and it would let her speak to him with her mind for a short period of time when he did. She would explore the mansion and find out what secrets it held. She would find out what drew the man to it's doors and she would find out why her mind collided with his.

Bryony was determined to find the answers she seeks. After all, she had found the place she saw and she had found the man she saw. It was only a matter of time...
