UPDATE POKEMON PLATINUM - DURSLEY ERA

I started my journey for the first time in the potterlocke, choosing turtwig (Huffleluff) as my starter (Bowtruckle) and progressed through the first 2 routes. On route 201 I caught a starly (Ravenclaw)(Diricawl). On route 202 I caught a Shinx (Hufflepuff)(Nundu)

AMAZING TWIST!!!

I actially had to progress twice as my ds died while I was going to the bathroom, and I hadn't saved since obtaining Bowtruckle. However, I am now at the same spot I was in, and all of my pokemon are the same, and in the same houses, as they were before. They just have different natures.

So, I'm in Oreburgh Gate and just had rock smash forced on me. Could a pokemon learn it before beating the first gym? Or could a pokemon that is not a hufflepuff learn it if they dont use it outside of battle?

You could catch an HM slave of some sorts. But you cannot use it in battle, box it after use.

"HM slaves are allowed ONLY if an HM is required to proceed and no Hufflepuff can learn it"

I just beat Roark after a long time of grinding. I had to get Bowtruckle up to level 13 so I wasn't trying to take him on with just tackle and wing attack, and didn't want to outbalance the team, so now everyone, or the 4 likely to be used, are up there.

UPDATE PLATINUM- CHAMBER OF SECRETS

On to Floaroma. I beat all of the battles effortlessly, until Mars. For her, I almost lost Nundo, and Bowtruckle, however, too my luck, Purugly's last attack missed and I won. I then proceeded to pass through Enterna Forest. IRRITATING!!! The only area so far that I could not catch a pokemon. All thanks to the wonderful Cheryl! :D D: She needs to learn not to attack the only pokemon left, that just so happened to be a Silcoon, that I would've enjoyed having. But all said and done, I move on to Enterna. I go to Gardenia, and wipe her entire gym, without leaving once, with just Diricawl.

Hey guys, welcome back to Catman's Randomizer Potterlocke! Last time we just beat the Striaton Gym and were about to catch a new Pokemon on Route 3. Let's get started!

Route 3

Alright. I beat two kindergartners in a double battle and stole their lunch money, nd Cheren Marcellus wants to fight!
He sends out his starter, Manaphy, and I send out mine, Mavis. Marcellus spams Leaf Tornado and almost kills her, but I pull through. Next is Meditite. I send out Leia and OHKO it with Judgement. After I crush Marcellus, some Plasma Grunts Managers run past us with Bianca Lawrence right behind them. They stole a Pokemon, as expected. Marcellus goes ahead, but I go heal up and try to catch a new member for Hogwarts.
Our new recruit is... a Zekrom?! Obviously I didn't catch it, because it has a catch rate of 45. ;-;

Wellspring Cave

Owned some Manager Grunts here, and I teamed up with Marcellus. After the failed Zekrom attempt, ;-; I lurk around to catch a new Pokemon. And here it is! It's a... Dustox?

To the gym! N gets in my way though... He sends out a Mienfoo, I sent out Mavis and spammed Ice Beam. Then he sends out Bronzong, and I send out Bucky. Bucky takes it out with two Blaze Kicks. His final Pokemon is Dunsparce? Chazz owns it with Double Kick.

Nacrene Gym!

Destroyed Lenora's nerd crew and descended to her bookcase hideout. Let's do this!

And apparently her new name is Florentino. Weird.

She sends out a Vulpix. I send out Leia and spammed Judgement, and killed the fox in two hits. Her final Pokemon is a Basculin. I switch out to Mavis and spam (as I usually do) Aura Sphere. Mavis almost died to this Pokemon twice, but we pulled through.

She gives me the Basic Badge and TM67 Poison Jab! Suddenly, Lenora's Florentino's husband runs in and tells her that Team Plasma is upstairs. She rushes out like Sonic the Hedgehog.

Alright then, I hope you enjoyed it and that you didn't fall asleep half way through it. Next time we'll go for the Insect Badge and hopefully not lose to many team members along the way. Speaking of team members...
