I think it would be Mario because he's Nintendo's mascot and because he's in a lot of good games.

My vote goes out to Luigi.

He can do everything Mario can do and in green! He's also in more shape and just a lot faster in the majority of the games they're involved in (or at least that's what I've come to know) together. Never really was a fan of Mario unless it was a game discussion. If so, the majority of the Mario games out there (or those that include Mario in it) are just so much better. With that said, yeah.. Luigi all the way. Props to Nintendo for making him green and in shape.

He has personallity, unlike Mario and Waluigi.
In all Mario RPGs you can see how Luigi is much more expressive and defined than Mario.

Wario comes close as a better-developed character, but Luigi takes the cake.

None of them. They're always out saving the princess, sleeping, playing some dumb sport, walking around on giant board games, fighting giant monkeys, dancing, hunting for treasure, managing some video game company, or going to Coney Island's Disco Palace. I called them 5 years ago and now I'm up to my knees right now in brown water on the 2nd story. I've never seen one piece of evidence that would lead me to believe that any of them are good plumbers at all. Especially Waluigi.

Ok, in all seriousness, I like Luigi best, especially ever since they gave him like, a personality of his own. He deserves to be his own character, not just Mario's green-clad brother. Mario is cool, too, though, and Wario and Waluigi's voices always make me lol XD

They say Luigi can do everything Mario can, but there's always a reason Mario's top dog, and that's because he's got spirit, fire, passion for victory. Luig's good, but Mario is GREAT. He can do anything.

Waluigi has plenty personality. He is sneaky and jealous but keeps his head up. He easily gloats even if he doesnt win always. I meant to vote for him but I think I did Mario.

The other three I never even knew of until, like, 4-5 years later, so I don't much about them aside from the obvious.

Well, obviously I'm going to choose Mario, as he was the number one in my eyes when I started playing the games. But Luigi is cool too, a bit of a coward, but cool. Wario is... unusual, greedy, and has anger problems, but he's cool too, and Waluigi... well he got a girlfriend in 5 minutes. (Kudos to those of you who get the refrence.) But in all seriousness, he is sneaky, but I don't really like him too much.

I'm almost inclined to vote for Luigi, simpily for the jokes. I especially love his role in Paper Mario: TTYD; an almost exactly identical adventure to Mario, with his partners all following him around only because he owes them money or something.

I'll never understand why people didn't like Luigi's Mansion. Yes, the game was short, and yes, it wasn't really a true Mario game, but it was still a unique and fun experience all the same. I still think to this day that, had it not been a GCN launch title, reviews might have been a little better. Plus, it didn't help that it was the first Mario game (even if it didn't star Mario) since Super Mario 64, which is a really hard act to follow. Heck, even Sunshine had trouble matching 64's appeal.

Anyhow, my vote goes for Luigi. He's always been my favorite plumber, ever since the plumber brothers made his first appearance in that really old game before the Nintendo even came out. (Oh man. I just dated myself.) And Luigi is still my favorite plumber to this day. Which probably explains why I always like men who wear green.

Wait... I just did a little bit of research. Have Wario and Luigi actually been confirmed to be plumbers? Wario has a little evidence suggesting that he is a plumber as seen in Plumber's Academy. Waluigi has had no evidence suggesting that he is a plumber as far as I know.

I've never been a fan of the Mario games but I honestly prefer Mario over Luigi. Wario, even though he probably isn't a plumber, beats Mario for me and I don't even care about Waluigi one bit.

As individuals there all cool, but when there in games, like Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games & Mario Kart and such and such. they all suck, and arent that appealing.
i usually go for toad or even Yoshi! there the maddest lol anyways i picked Luigi the Green goblin gangsta lol
