Do you believe that there's somebody out there for everyone?

    Apparently I don't.. But really, it just depends on the person and what they want... yeah, not really too sure how to answer this myself. XD;

Well the world has room for all sorts, there are many people with alike qualities and it can be hard to think that there could ever be somebody else so alike with you. But I rather like the idea that there could be somebody out there for you. I took my time learning that this idea certainly exists.

I haven't been through a lot and I also haven't been in this world that long yet.

Still, there are all sorts of people in the world. Sometimes I think about random characteristics that are almost impossible to find in a single person, yet I still imagine a person that might either want or have all those traits. And then I go out, meet new people, and soon find out that the person with all those random characteristics I thought about was real, even if it's just an acquaintance of the person I met.

So it's quite possible to an extent, for someone that's meant to be for certain people (meaning, not all) in the world.

A specific person for every single person in the world, though? I ain't so sure. But who knows? Heck, there just might be someone out there for everyone with all those many influences, qualities, and other factors that make people alike, and it's a pretty good thought to think, even if that person is on the other side of the globe.

Not sure if everyone would be able meet their special somebody out there in their lifetime, though.

Nah, I don't believe in this stuff.

I beleve there are a lot of people very compatible with you, either romantically or not, but to think there's only one person out there for you sounds so depressing to me. In a world with 6 billion people, what are the chances you'd even find that person? :( But if you instead just consider that there are plenty of people you'll hit it off with--yeah, it's not gonna be perfect and you'll have to work at it but that sounds more rewarding than having a ~perfect soulmate~ anyway.

Unless of course this is just asking in general and not referring to soulmates in which case yeah, sure.

Technically, yes. There are billions of people in this world, someone has got to like you back.

But really, no. I don't believe in love. Period. I just don't see the point of it. You kiss, and that's it (at my age anyway).

I think theres at least one person to match every person in the world, but for me I blew it. :(

It's a catch 22 situation, if you believe in it. On one hand, you've got the comfort of there being someone out there somewhere who's perfect for you, but on the other, the population is so vast that you might never find them.

I dunno if I believe in it or not. :/

I do believe in it sometimes, but there also times where I just see it at some pathetic attempt at hope, there was one time where I thought I had found 'the one' but it turned out false so I ended up moving on.

So yeah, it really depends what mood I'm in.

Yes I do believe that there is someone perfect for you out there.
At the same time though I doubt many people ever find that person.

Even if there is one, I sure haven't met him/her yet.

Maybe I already do, but cruel fate tore us apart.

I do and I don't. See, I believe that there's 'plenty more fish in the sea' which kind of contradicts the fact that there's someone for everyone. I mean, people go through their whole love going out with people, but never feel true love. They're just doing it for an image, not the feeling. Then there's the people that never find anyone and spend their whole lives alone.

So, meh. I don't more than I do.

Technically there's thousands of people for everyone. xD; I'm not one to believe that there's only ONE single person alive, whose meant to be with you/totally understands you. May feel like it sometimes, because you click with them so well, but honestly there's probably thousands more that would be the same way. Difference being, is that you've just never met them to know it.

    If that makes sense.

    Um, I hope so xD
    Don't worry nica, I'll win.

Yes. Actually I do. In a group of 100 people, there's a high chance 2 of them were born on the same day. So there's a high chance someone out there is like you.

No, but there happen to be so many people around now that there undoubtedly will be many that fit together.

But what about cultures where polygamy is common? This ruins the approximate 50-50 population split between the sexes, leaving others without anyone. Granted there are asexuals, me included, but I doubt there are enough to compensate for the polygamists.
