    Let's say you were to find an envelope full of money in the bushes walking down the street XD, would you turn that in to the police or secretly keep it?

    For me, temptation would kick in and I would keep it... honestly what the heck is that much money doing on one person? Maybe the person planned to buy something or whatever that required a huge amount of cash (eg. a car) but keeping that much money on you just seems plain stupid.

    And I'm sorry, but turning in that much in is just bound to have crooks wanting to claim it... I would feel bad for the person or people who lost it but loosing that much money is just careless and your chances are slim to none that you would get that all back. However, if I was walking down the street and I clearly seen a person drop their wallet or purse or whatever by accident, I would tell them that they dropped something because no one ever wants something like that to happen to them, but unclaimed money like that out in the open just seems different to me.

    Man, that would be a tough one. I'd probably keep it for a few days, but knowing me I'd feel guilty and probably turn it in before I got to use a single cent of it. ;;

    With the situation you said... I would keep it... because no one would be around... so... I would keep it. But like if I see a wallet on the floor in Target (XD)... I would raise the wallet and say "this wallet is mine!" XD.

    At least I think I do, and it couldn't let me keep that much money. Odds are if you've found it on the street, it hasn't been laying there for years like money found under a floorboard, and therefore it has to belong to someone. In most police departments, if no one claims it after a certain period of time, it's yours, and you can be assured that if anyone came in to claim it, they would not give it out no questions asked. Furthermore, if you were the only one to notice the money, how could hordes of thieves know about it and all come running to the police station to take it? I'm not trying to sound haughty, but I would turn it in simply because it's the moral thing to do, even if the money is enticing. I don't have a better answer than that, but sometimes mere principle is the best answer.
     
    I'd keep it. o.o Well, I'll hide it in my room and when my parents aren't there, I'll go to the store and buy something. x3 Ishn't me smart? ^o^ x33
     
    I will keep half and turn in half. If it's claimed by a crook,at least I kept half of it to use for good.

    I thought of a bank account first, but wouldn't you get questioned where you got that much money suddenly? Especially at a young age? But if not, I'd put it in my bank too.

    Good point. :o *pats* You're so smart! Well then, in that case, I think I'd some how shove it all in my piggy~bank and keep it there instead. n__n And, uh, hide it from my parents. >:D
     
    I'd just turn it in. I'd feel way too guilty. I don't need that much money anyway.
     
    Sadly, I'd keep it. It's just that who knows what you could do with 20k. You could open a charity house, or pay to help find a cure for breast cancer! You never know what you could do with it ^_^!
