CREEPYPASTA CONTEST RESULTS

So I apologize that I wasn't able to place this up earlier. I didn't expect myself receiving results the same time as my End of year Final exams. But as you have been waiting for I have the results!

We marked the Creepypasta in a certain way to get the results. Our Marking Schedule went like this:

We marked you mainly on Five things:
Creepiness/Scariness: Creepypasta are meant to scare us. So it was marked on how Scary/Creepy the story was. (Rate Out of 10)
Believability: The more believable they are the more scary they are. The more believable the story is the better the story is. (Rate Out of 10)
Originality:I personally get tired if its the overused Lavender Town or the Unknowns spelling out something. They will get higher if they think out of the box (Rate Out of 10)
Standout: Standout means a story which stands out. Not necessarily originality, sometimes it may not be original but it can stand out due something extra (Rate Out of 10)
Understandability: Did you fully understand the story? Did you fully understand the story or did you get confused at times (Rate Out of 10)

Now each rating will equal points:

1/10: 10 Points
2/10: 20 Points
3/10: 30 Points
4/10: 40 Points
5/10: 50 Points
6/10: 60 Points
7/10: 70 Points
8/10: 80 Points
9/10: 90 Points
10/10: 100 Points

Each Judge will mark using the schdule and we add both of our Results together. Basically the CP with the highest number of Points win (Including added Bonuses)

Anyway I know you are dying to hear the results. I have to say It was hard to mark them as there were so many good ones!

The three people I really enjoyed your stories so much! and you know what I'll be straight with you. YOU GUYS MADE ME CRY XD But seriously I'm not one to cry during Creepypasta but I actually did start shedding a few tears with these three stories.

Zappy's Comment:
I've never been that fond of CPs which were told from the point of Trainers. I've mostly been into the whole gaming and frachise part of Creepypasta but after this contest I was proved wrong.

And in the middle was what shocked her the most, in the middle was her Minuns corpse. Beheaded and mutilated. Its organ spewn everywhere, eyes clawed out.

The fact that I've never really thought of a Pokemon beheaded really freaked me out - Yea sure I've heard of Stabbed, Shot but beheaded?
Even worse the fact that I love Electric Pokemon. Making Cassandra's partner a Minun hit me right in the middle!

Zappy's Comment:
I can tell you one thing. Your story to me was unique. The game being used to communicate what happened to David's Friend was something the interested me. I've never seen anything like that and if I have it wasn't as well told as you told me. Also that fact that it was a NDS file and not some old game both from Ebay or a Thrift store etc. - Well I have come across one or two but it's not that often

The sprite walked across the room and stopped at a rough pokéball.
"Found Rope"
I now had tears streaming down my cheeks begging that he had made a slight error when he was typing. But as much as I pleaded with the game I didn't get what I hoped for. The next text box read:
"Used Rope"
An image of his chest appeared on top of the overworld and slowly slid across the screen. It reached the edge of the screen and with a sharp snap the sprite shot down revealing a rope wrapped tightly around his neck.

It took me time to realize what was happening but when I released it my tears were threatening.

I can remember when I read your story it was near the end of Lunchtime at school so yours was the last one I read that day. When I came in to class 10 Minutes later people were asking me what's wrong with me cause I was reading you story.
Aura was something that always interested me but I've onlye heard about one other story which had it - or a few others which were close enough to it so it really got me excited. I really enjoyed the stories relationship to life like the relationship between Dogs and Humans than relating it Entei. You had so many ideas but it fit so perfectly together.

Before the battle started, a new dialog box popped up, saying "Molly, I love you, but you know I can never be yours. You need to beat me,, to free us all... so that we can all be with you."

When I read this I just felt so sad. It was the point where I actually started crying... I mean I'm not finished reading and I'm already crying. It may have not been the scariest Creepypasta I've ever read but it has certainly been up there on the top - And I've read tons of Creeypasta!

Well i don't think i could have been beaten by anyone better than forever. I have to say by the end of it i was fighting back tears and this is coming from a person who couldn't shift a tear when death was looming in the family.

Also i think i know where i lost my majority of points x] i have even had english students asking what come parts were implying over on my DA account XD
It's ending up that i'm having to write a journal entry about all the stories i write explaining what its all about.


But anyway, congrats Forever and congrats to everyone else who entered. i'm sure if she could Zappy would have picked you all as winners :P

Well, like Team Fail said, I don't really mind getting a bad mark. (i.e. second last). This was my first time, after all...(Well, maybe just a little bit...)

I hate my mind...well, I kinda expected it, using one of the most cliche plots ever. (*cough*Old Chateau/ghosts*cough*) I'll be more creative from now on.
